View threadWell, you know the customer has always paid the employees, right? One way or the other. Kind of like the "corporate income tax".So the customers are paying the employee's paychecks instead of the employer. Gotcha!![]()

That receipt is insane!Looks like the receipt from a teenager who just won the lottery.![]()
Well a golden steak is wrapped in gold so yea.
Really.........for 0.65.............I would have gave her $31-$32, and said thanks...........don't be a cheap ass.........I'm pretty sure $3 or $4 bucks isn't gonna break you ..........Unless someone pisses me off they get at least 20%...............sometimes they get 100% +.......Have you heard about 'rounding up'. I went to a B level restaurant, nice but not really high class. Got the bill and it was, lets say, $16.30. I gave the server a $20. she brought me back $3.00 and walked away. I asked her about the other $00.65, and she comes back with "Oh, we've started rounding up."
Think about that. If they serve 200 customers in a day, thats $130 per day going into somebody's pocket. I threw a shit fit right there in front of the whole place, the manager got all pissed and tried to justify it, but I got my $00.65, started to walk away and he asks, "What about a tip for the lady?"
I'll let you fill in my answer.
You mis understood, I believe. I normally tip at least 20% and would have then. The issue was not about the food, service, or cost of the food. the issue was in that I was intentionally shorted. A policy I would guess mandated by management, who is the one who would end up with the extra $130 per day, not the server. I'll pay what you ask, but dont cheat me.Really.........for 0.65.............I would have gave her $31-$32, and said thanks...........don't be a cheap ass.........I'm pretty sure $3 or $4 bucks isn't gonna break you ..........Unless someone pisses me off they get at least 20%...............sometimes they get 100% +.......
If I stop at the local bar and have a couple of drinks during happy hour, and the tab is $12.00, I'll give the bartender $25.00 and say thanks.............he always pours me a good drink............
