So anyone with print of the wasp chamber?
My match chamber has smoothed out nicely, but still hammers. It is hard to argue with the results you and I both showcase here in the last day.Scored a NIB Gen 1 ACC Premier for half price. Switched over the barreled action, torqued to 35 in lbs and went to ck poi and re zero. SK rifle match to foul/sight in then a few 5 shot groups @50yds with some random lots. Setup at 200yds but the sky opened up on us, no results at distance today. Few tweaks to cheek piece and butt pad while fouling in, like the feel of the chassis. Not sending this barrel back for the wasp chamber...
Incredible results! I was shooting my Kidd alongside my daughter with her Kidd rifle (mine was brought as a backup in case she had a catastrophic failure) at nationals. Semi auto wasn’t a division this year, but if it was, I would have won.Long time lurker here but thought id share some feedback on the barrel. Im 18 months into PRS and just won my first open match ( new Foothills region) in my second attempt with the L3i barrel (non wasp chamber purchased through go big tactical in Canada)
Ive been shooting production class in NRL 22 with a CZ 457 and just got back from nationals where i placed 15th (had a dumpster fire of a first day lol) and recently made the jump into open.
Rifle Details :
-L3i drop in ( match chamber)
-acc premier gen 2
-timney trigger
-vortex razor gen 3
Impressions/Feedback:
After measuring headspace results told me i needed .04 shim to get to .043. With that setup, the hard bolt close would disturb my natural point of aim too much for my personal taste. I had limited time for testing a set up and had one more range visit prior to the match , so i decided to test .045 (have to make sure it wasn’t .046 and will edit if im incorrect) by stacking shims. I had no issues with extraction or light strikes at this headspacing. Range visit showed a better bolt close and no significant reduction in 50, 100 yard performance with my two good lots of ammo of center x and SK long range. If anything that stood out the most too me was that it really didn’t matter what ammo i put in, it shot very well. (Im looking forward to more testing time to really refine the best ammo fit). Range time did show a fairly impressive improvement over my base Cz 457 at 100 through 200; so at that point i felt confident enough that with that and the better ergo’s of a chassis versus the stock chassis that id give it a shot. I chose my center x to get me closer to my preferred 1070 as we shoot in a lot of wind and this match has sustained 20 mph and gusts up to 30. ( Sk long range had me at 1110)
Subjectively i noticed far more consistent hits at distance in the 200-250 yard range that my base gun was inconsistent at and overall this barrel is a shooter and I couldn’t be happier!

You definitely have to open the bravo up but we had a team shooter using it without any weights afterwards.Anyone running this barrel in a krg bravo chassis? How much work did it take to open up the chassis to fit?
How well does it balance with the stock bravo and no added weights?
I see a GSP standing by!Barrel installed today. Been so busy it seems ever since it got here. Hopefully get to shoot it soon. Both .003 and .004 shim felt right. No way to measure though if anyone has any tips. I left the .004 in it.View attachment 8707029
