Hello, I think to buy the BT72 (two screws picatinny), I shoot prevalently from bench, some time (very some) prone.

My alternative choice are the FC5-G2 AccuTac, but my dubt are about the range of leg height adjust, I thin tha the BT 72 are more adjustable(?).

On my range the targets beyond 300m are very inclined, up to 27° for the 900m target.

Can you make some advices before I make the purchase?

Thanks!

Hello @shoot4fun , your preference about AccuTac and his adjustability are about the cant and pan?

If yes, I don't need the pan adjust, and so the plenty adjustability of the FC4 compared to the CAL are always superior?
I don't use the pan but cant is, as you know, most important. Some benches I shoot matches from are on the small side and the pan feature can make a difference in being comfortable behind the rifle or not.
Both of mine are FC4, as that is what I was able to buy at a considerable discount slightly used, but that doesn't mean the FC5 will be a bad choice. The other, and first acquired, is a BR4 I think (maybe the longer legged version) and I found it to be a bit long for bench use. It was always too high at 90˚ and the legs were too close to the front edge of the bench at 45˚. I also prefer the wider stance provided by the FC bipods.

Ok for the infos, the bench at my range are about 24" large.
