Not one single bit. I was a beta buyer on the trickers but I’m just on the no cost no obligation preorder list for the upgrade. I do have the electronics and cup already.

I’m just calling it like I see it. I do not understand the butt hurt some people have because they are on a list for a product that hasn’t been released. Don’t buy the thing when it comes out if it pisses you off that much.

I’m just using a Lee Pro Perfect Powder measure to get me by until the thrower is released.

I have a Lyman Gen 6 too, but hardly ever use it anymore except except for loading SD pistol rounds with difficult powder.

If you buy an area419 die ring (they are wide and have a lot of surface area), you can glue it to the platform and screw the lee right on top where the V3 would go. Thats what I did.

This whole thing is cracking me up. I'm on the list as well - not the first round likely, but I signed up well over a year ago. At this point I'm not sure I'll bother even if my number comes up. I have zero interest in piecemeal as I want expecting a complete turn key set up that I can plug in and run with as little fiddlefucking around with it as possible. I have an ATV4 and ST already and they both work fine - not perfect - but they do the job well enough.

It'll be even more entertaining when the issues start showing up. I've watched you all over the years walking around with permaboners drooling in wait for the ATV4 followed by the overwhelming emotional outpouring of anger when it didn't drop the perfect charge in 3 second 99.9% of the time. Boners were back for the SuperTrickler - couldn't wait to get that and save the world only to cry and rename it the SuperSpiller.

So any good names for this one when it comes up short of your high expectations?

Ah...everything released except what's needed to make a complete system. Let's be clear....IP doesn't deserve any props IMO for piecemeal release of parts that do not comprise a whole working system.

I guess gluing it to the platform is no big deal since I won’t need the platform if and when the thrower shows up. I believe the thrower has its own mounting platform.

Maybe I’ll look into a ATV4 if the thrower never comes to fruition? Works great for now. Cut my loading time in half or more as is.

I didn’t have anything beside the Lyman so I figured this system looked the best out of all of them (in theory) so I rolled the dice.

I’ve spoken with Paul several times over the past couple of years. Never really seems to say in all our conversations what exactly the holdup is. Meh. Whatever. Always very helpful when I’ve had an issue figuring something out. Usually calls me when I send him an email.

If it works as advertised I’ll wait. Is what it is.

At this point, I think I would buy it. I use an older RCBS chargemaster. I did some reloading this past weekend. I used the cartridge to tare two other scales I have. The throws from the chargemaster read the same on both scales but the reading varied by -0.1 to +0.2 grains.

I agree with you. I want the whole system but at this point I feel like I have a more modern Prometheus. Especially with the Sartorious. Kinda a pain to pull a lever all the time to dump but it's still faster and more accurate than my ST was.

Any commercial powder thrower could be accurate and fast if they used magnetic force restoration balances. And because geared rotors for powder trickling has not been patented, anyone and his dog can make his own. Same for an adjustable powder thrower.

They don't because these balances are expensive and not compact.
