Abel Company - Theorem Titanium Supressor!

Heading back from Can Con in Phoenix. Great event and our booth was right next to @TBACRAY. Was great to finally meet the guys at Thunder Beast, a company that we’ve always looked up to.

Before the gates opened:

After opening, we had a constant onslaught. Between Abel and TBAC, we had the quietest booths at the event.

This was the second event they have hosted. The next one is in Georgia in the fall. They haven’t officially announced it but sounds like they will do it again next year at Ben Avery

Updated the original post with PewSciences review of the theorem-L.

Great shooter ear suppression rating with lower back pressure than other cans of its size.

@hic28

I want to re-up this thread to talk about the vented end caps.

Do you see a marked reduction in recoil with the vented end caps for bolt action applications? Say if someone was to purchase a Theorem-L for use on a magnum, like a .300NM, would you recommend the regular or vented end cap?

Or are the vented end caps designed more for reducing back pressure in ar15 type platforms?

I will tell you that it’s light and it works incredibly well.

In the case of my LMT MWS vented end caps reduce the amount of pressure to the point where the gun does not get as filthy as it would otherwise.

It’s a significant difference.

I use a TBAC 338SR on my 300 win mag, because it’s so incredibly effective.

The thorium L is pretty darn close to that monster 338 can…

I think the Theorem-L is my next can. I need a large volume can for my .338NM, and I've been incredibly pleased with the quality of my Abel Biscuit and the CS from Abel.

The vented end cap piques my interest. What's the recoil impulse like on your .300WM with the Theorem-L and vented end cap?

Everyone who has shot the vented vs closed has commented on the difference but I don’t have actually reduction numbers. It is significantly noticeable though.

As for reducing back pressure, that was the main reason for the design on large frame gas guns and its incredibly effective there.

Basically the same as the 338 SR…. It’s very nice and a much smaller can.

Hey Everyone,

We finally got the laser setup, tested, welds xrayed, production running, website updated and ready to ship!

As always, shoot me a PM for a Snipershide member discount. We are doing an introductory 15% until the end of the year then 10% running through 2023.

Theorems ship with the following:
(1) Closed front end/exit cap
(1) Vented front end/exit cap (for a limited time!)
(1) Multi-tool (for exit cap and mounting adapter)
(1) Mounting Adapter (buyer's choice)

More pics coming…

Im looking to get the theorem L for my l.p. fuzion/bartlein 6.5cm precision rifle and am trying to decide if i should go with the direct thread or a muzzle device with a taper lock?.... specifically which would be better for accuracy or does it even matter? My thought is with a taper lock its going to remain screwed tight with the same amount of force where constantly retightening a direct thread will have slightly different amounts of tightening or am im overthinking this by a mile? Lol

Abel Abel Abel!!!

It doesn't matter if you go with something like the Area 419 Hellfire system and the proper adapter for the Theorem L. I have that exact setup and don't run into any issues.

i can take it to any of franks courses and reliably shoot at distance with first shot hits. The groupings actually tend to be slightly tighter...

It's a toss up between the Theorem and the TBAC ultra 9 as the two quietest suppressors I own. The former having many more options...

The Biscuit is the bomb for AR type rifles. Hands down.

How do you like the hellfire system? Is it easy to get around when barrel cleaning? I usually like to take off the muzzle device when cleaning my barrel but not always. Right now im using my oss 7.62 hx qd suppressor and lits not the best for bolt guns in suppression but it does make my groups tighten up quite a bit compared to my trash panda which im not fond of at all. I've really been back and forth between the theorem L and the tbac magnus, leaning more towards the theorem L bc of the exchangable caps and having the hub mount.

Both of those are excellent suppressors so you’re not going wrong with either of them… myriad of replaceable end caps on the Abel makes it better option.

The only thing that gets installed on the barrel in a more permanent manner is the adapter for the 419 set up. Otherwise, it’s super slick and super useful.

Are they only available via Abel and Mile High?
Im pretty set on a Theorem and Theorem-S.
The end caps are a definite selling point vs Tbac to me.

Diligent Defense Enticer-S Ti takes dead air end caps, and is interesting and local to me.

A friend just bought an Theorem-L and he ordered direct through them, with their brake. Will be interesting to compare to my Magnus S-RR.

There are ways to get interchangeable end caps on the TBAC, just not from TBAC. I just got a Recoil X for my Magnus and it also allows you to use SiCo end caps. There is also a member on here selling and solid cap.

I’d be curious to see how the L compares to the S-RR. My Theorem-S with brake is definitely softer shooting than my S-RR, but it is louder.
