Just empty the existing powder and put the new one in. Do a calibration cycle, which takes a few seconds, or just power it down and up and it will automatically calibrate. I had some trouble with H322, which is a very short extruded. It worked, but did relatively too many overthrows.about compatibility with small extruded powder compatibility right now.

Ready to buy this thing or the IP trickler but haven't been able to get in touch with PP.

Very good communication and especially by comparison to others. I'm in the 20s for reservation so hope to be able to report back here sooner than later. As of August 24th the new circuit board order has arrived and I am both doing QC checks as well as populating chips into the boards. Parts have been printed in the meantime, and assembly of the full trickler systems will commence as soon as boards are prepared.
Availability notifications for the next batch of trickler systems will begin to go out no later than August 30th, and I will be reaching out in the order of the reservation numbers provided. If you have a reservation number please do try to check your emails as I will be asking for billing/shipping information to send out invoices for purchase.
I apologize for the unexpected additional delay, but I thank you for your patience throughout the process of tackling unforseen supply chain difficulties and I look forwards to getting more Printed Precision Trickler systems into your hands in the coming month and beyond.
No word on that in my communications. I did receive and pay an invoice first thing this morning. Maybe someone who knows PP can fill us in on the plans.Was there any indication to how many are expected to go out on this second batch? I know it’s not the same but I run IMR 4831 in mine with and without the new trickler plates and it runs greatI just got assigned res #86. I asked about 4831SC and it seems as if being a similar size might work. Majority will be Varget, but I’m aiming to also use for a hunting rifle.
I just used some painters tape to keep the base together and then it allows me to break it back down easily and store it. I usually will get my load data sorted out then load every piece of brass I have and then put the trickler away. If I was constantly switching calibers and powder etc etc then I’d be more inclined to glue it together. Just an optionPPT arrived on Saturday - just a few days after shipment. UPS indicated it was coming. Putting it together took less than an hour while farting around with it to sort out how it all works, read instructions and program the scale.
The interface is very easy. The 3 bottons only is great for simplicity. Selecting the charge weight is very similar to the frustration of trying to set target distance on a kestrel - you blow past the number and have to back track. A trade off for the simplicity is all. That said, im basically loading h4350 only on this now in such a limited charge range that its of little relative importance.
A couple things to note so far. There is one optional step in the set up of gluing together to parts of the base. At least on mine, i dont think it was optional since as soon as I had powder in the hopper it wanted to tip at the lightest touch. No big deal just think its a must. I also needed to cut down my hopper to fot available space which was very easy.
So far I've run about 20 charges through as a test and loaded 50. As the machine is brand new its been more about getting used to it. I need to go through the machine with a dryer sheet, make sure all is set up perfectly, etc before forming any opinions. Ill have a large batch of 6gt to load up soon and will keep track of process, time, over throws, etc.
So far it seems way faster than a matchmaster supreme and i think once it (and my process to match) smooth out it should be great.

I had the powder tube nearly full of varget and if the tube was shorter and I didn’t have a shelf sitting right above my bench I wouldn’t have that varget lol. Heart skipped a beat for a sec.Valid option and good point. Mine stays put so I didn't even think about this.

Another printer has arrived recently and he is expanding his shop.
In light of the heavy recent interest in the Printed Precision Trickler, and with the extra work involved for the initial product launch and production expansion efforts beginning to settle down, I would like to come forwards and introduce myself as the creator in an effort to address questions beyond just those sent to me directly via email.
The main thing I want to address, alluded to above, is that the first expansion of production capabilities has already been successfully completed. I have always prioritized the quality/accuracy of printed parts over the speed to crank them out, and with only one printer for production initially this was the primary limiting factor in catching up with the existing backlog of reservation numbers. Now that I have validated the accuracy and parts interchangeability from different printers this has resulted in a large improvement in production figures at 8-10 per week compared to the 3-6 previously. Beyond current levels I have additional plans/orders in place to further expand printed part capacity, as well as to bring on assistance with assembly to continue reducing the current wait times as much as possible and eliminate them for the future once caught up.
Along those same lines, the website has been updated once again with the latest information regarding where production is at in the reservation number queue. For reservation numbers 33-36, be on the lookout today for a reply to your original reservation number email since I will be reaching out to confirm your interest and information today as soon as the hoppers for your tricklers are delivered so that the packages can be sealed up for shipment.

I absolutely love this level of communication. Pumped for my number to come up.As a heads up, there will be a delay this week to production as I am introducing a change based on feedback from existing users and this change is waiting on the arrival of new materials.
The primary complaint I have received is not of functionality but convenience, and this was always the lack of a truly removable hopper. That and the length of time required to empty the bulk hopper if you had a full pound or more of powder in it.

With testing of a valve system completed, I have 6 meters worth of of thick borosilicate glass tubing set to arrive on Thursday or Friday so that all Printed Precision Tricklers going forwards as of next week will ship instead with a glass hopper with an adapter that allows you to shut off flow from the hopper to the bulk dispenser with a short 45* twist. This sealed hopper may then be removed separately from from the bulk dispensing cup.
The production delay is because I need to convert this tubing from multi-meter lengths into shorter hoppers, so if all goes well I should have 50-60 hoppers ready by the start of next week.
For all current owners of Printed Precision Tricklers, I will make an “update kit” consisting of the glass hopper, adapter, and updated bulk dispenser disk + cup available. For existing trickler owners this will be provided to them at cost upon request, and for those placing new orders additional hoppers with an adapter beyond the first will be available for $50 each.
The sales price of the Printed Precision Tricklers these glass hoppers will remain unchanged with this new improvement.

trickles fine, depending on environmental humidity the bulk can get discontinuous due to bridging. I haven’t loaded for magnums since spring so idk how it does with the new hardware, and the inventor is investigating if a baffle can be added to the new hopper designThe guys that own this unit have you tried n568?
