Getting my new TRG in may and wondering whats the best suppressor to look for?

One that keeps a pretty consistant zero. Doesnt spread the group out at all. Quiet, and one that fits on the factory threads.

I know theres probably a few out that thatll be suggested im just looking for a starting point to do my research.

Thanks in advance

Re: TRG-22 .260 Suppressor?

I like my SAS, & I have shot 2 others and they all perform very good!

Re: TRG-22 .260 Suppressor?

My Sas Ti Arbiter works great on my TRG22 in .260. TBAC's 30-P1 is another great choice.

Keep in mind titanium cans (generally) are lighter. This is great because it minimizes the likelihood of POI shift, but the can will heat up much more quickly. On a warm or hot day after about 5 - 7 rounds of "rapid fire", the heat can begin to bleed through your suppressor cover and introduce its own mirage into your sight picture. It's a tradeoff to dealing with a heavier inconel can and POI shift - although my QD inconel cans are all repeatable. Neither affect accuracy negatively IME.

Re: TRG-22 .260 Suppressor?

Im not quite sure how much rapid fire ill be doing. i might shoot 3 or 5 quickly just to see how accurate i can be but never anymore than that.

To fill out form 4 do you have to be in the shop? I live in northern North Dakota and have no clue who the dealers are in the area.

No, you can print off your own Form 4's Here and fill out everything you know, and take them with you to a dealer when you track one down.

Re: TRG-22 .260 Suppressor?

I really like the 30P-1s on my TRG and I shoot it as fast as some people with semi autos. It can take it with no problems.

If your dealer is worth a damn, they would fill it out for you. There isn't really that much you as a customer fills out other then the address, county and signature.

Re: TRG-22 .260 Suppressor?

Sounds good. Ill look around to find a good dealer in my area. Appreciate the help

3-5 Quickly = rapid fire in this case. 5 rounds quickly fired and you will not want your skin to contact a titanium suppressor. 10 rounds and you will likely start to melt your suppressor cover. I've seen it done with an inconel suppressor on a .308.

As opposed to 40 seconds or more aimed for the highest precision possible, eliminating things like cooking in the chamber.
