Much appreciated Sunnyside Scott. Tell them when you call you're with the shooters to get the group rate!

Jim, I saw that guy shooting, he bore an uncanny resemblance to a Cashmere guy who shot pretty good at the Findlay match, but the name escapes me

Re: SHWW Group

Hello everyone!
Sorry to just jump in the middle of the thread. I figured I would introduce myself. My name is William, originally from New Ulm Minnesota. I was stationed out here in 07' and just ended up staying out here because I like it so much. I was in 1-37 Field Artillery, Charlie Battery as a FDC chart operator. I guess I'm one of those people that just like to hear rounds smack steel. I go to Sportsmans range or range 13 just off of Foret Lewis most of the time and sometimes up to Elbe. I look forward to meeting some of you guys and possibly shooting some of the comps that are held. Mainly just so I can watch and learn lol. Thanks and have a great day.

Will

Re: SHWW Group

Alrighty folks, just got home and sat down to the computer with a hot dog and a beer to see what photos I ended up with. I didn't get too many this time. I put my camera away for day 2 after seeing how much of that volcanic ash magic dust got into the lens zoom mechanism. It's nothing fancy but I'd really rather not replace/repair it.

The rolling hills and wind farms of E. WA are a welcome sight to us cloudy siders.

Re: SHWW Group

Great photo's Laurel ! It was good hanging out with all of you through the first day.

Just got cleaned up and my photo's downloaded with lots of pics to sort through, I'll see what I can get up soon.

Thanks to Scott and all the RO's for putting the match together. Had a great time.

Re: SHWW Group

Sorry I had to miss this one. The last minute location change put a kink in some of my other weekend logistics. In my book, Scott's a helluva Match Director for relocating rather than just re-scheduling or cancelling. What a PITA it must've been. It looks like fun was had by all. See everyone in Wenatchee on 5/6.

Re: SHWW Group

I wish we got home when it was still daylight out... We had 2 rear tires grow bubbles on em, and had to limp into Ellensburg and wait to have new tires put on. Finally back to Benchmark and home at 11 pm... Great shooting everyone this weekend, and next time I'm climbing out of the RO chair and back onto the ground with y'all.

Re: SHWW Group

<span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'"> Thanks to Scott, the RO's, the Sponsors, and my fellow competitors for a great shoot this weekend.

Congratulations to Chad and Jesse- your shootoff was AWESOME. I hope that a video gets posted of that grueling half mile run in the heat.

TSI & crew did a damn good job of adapting to the location change at the last minute, and all you folks made it a fun weekend!

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you again in a few weeks @ Kettle Falls <span style="font-size: 14pt"> <span style="font-weight: bold">WOOH!

Re: SHWW Group

Thanks Scott and all the the ROs. Pretty challenging conditions at times the sand/dust made it a real test of equipment. Chad shot great on Sunday and definitely deserved the win. I for one hope the video never gets posted as I'm quite embarrassed from my performance in the shootoff. Didn't really feel that I could push any harder without completely trashing my knee again...sagebrush and sand was not a good combination and it's taken me like 2yrs to get where I can sort of run/jump again.

Congrats to Chad though, you shot well and certainly deserved the win by smoking me in the shootoff. You really went on a roll the last two stages!

Re: SHWW Group

Just wanted to add my thanks to Scott, the RO's and sponsors!
Although I shot like crap I enjoyed the weekend very much due to the great group of people involved.

Re: SHWW Group

well got home just before 11pm last night.

I am so thankful to have such an understanding group of shooters!!! You guys were such troopers to work with me on the new location. Your attitudes towards this being a very friendly event is what makes it worth it to me. The minute it turns hard core competitive and guys not helping each other out to gain competitive advantage I AM DONE! One of the coolest things about this northwest is every bodies attitudes.

I would like to thank everyone for attending and helping out. You guys were amazing whether it was helping setup/take down. score, ro, take picture/video, sponsor.

Wasn't going to do another video but after watching Jesse and Chad working their asses off for the tie breaker, it was the least I could do.
Congrats to both of you for the effort you put in !

Re: SHWW Group

Sucks I couldn't make this one! Looks like all had a great time as expected! I'm surprised as hell though by TSI's attire! I knew it was warm but I still figured he'd have on 2-3 layers in that 80 Degree cold! :p

Thanks for taking all the pictures, putting the video together, and capturing the "essence" of the shoot, which could partially be summed up as Smiles and Dust! Nice work behind the camera capturing the brass flyin!

Jesse... YOU PLACED 2ND! That's fucking AWESOME! Do you know how many people watching would have passed out 1/2 way to the target? Lol... Try being in 25th place out of 31

Re: SHWW Group

I had a blast, thank you Scott & everyone for putting together another challenging shoot. Each and every time i get to go to an event i learn about myself and my rifle, i try and learn from my mistakes and try my best not to repeat them. I love shooting with my buddies, but also enjoy meeting & shooting with a new group of guys & gals.

I think one of these times we should do a mini match , 4 stages then break out the BBQ's & drinks & BS.
