    <span style="font-weight: bold">The Adaptive Quick Card (AQC)</span>
Designed and produced by Adaptive Consulting & Training Services, LLC (ACTS,LLC)

    3.jpg

    <span style="font-weight: bold">Overview:</span>
The AQC is designed to be the most simple, intuitive, and accurate tool available to estimate density altitude (DA) and calculate long range firing solutions for a large array of popular firearm calibers, bullet types, and muzzle velocities.

The AQC’s design is an adaptation from the FDAC (Field Density Altitude Compensator) and was completely conceived, designed, and validated by a team of Marine Scout Snipers. The AQC is intended to simplify the process of calculating a firing solution, so that all users of all experience levels can quickly and easily engage targets in any field environment, without the use of any additional devices.

The firing solutions found within the AQC are incredibly accurate and have been extensively tested at long range to ensure data accuracy and compatibility with the wide range of firearm and optics combinations used by today’s military/LE snipers and long range shooting enthusiasts.

All firing solutions are generated using the extremely accurate G7 drag model, utilizing G7 ballistic coefficients. You will not find a more simple method to rapidly calculate a highly accurate firing solution in the field, without the use of any electronic device.

    Currently Available AQC Configurations:

    <span style="font-weight: bold">Instructions for use: </span>
1.Estimate your current physical altitude (Ft), and the current air temperature (°F).
2.Locate the intersecting Density Altitude figure within the Density Altitude Estimation Table.
3.Flip the AQC over and locate the appropriate Density Altitude column.
4.Locate the Elevation (E) and Windage (W) solution appropriate for the range to the target and the current wind conditions.
5.Apply the firing solution to your scope’s turrets or reticle hold.

As you can see these AQC are quick easy and effective in helping any shooter acquire a firing solution with minimal effort.

These pages are designed specifically for your bullet and velocity.

    The <span style="font-weight: bold">AQC</span> are <span style="font-weight: bold">exclusively</span> available only thru <span style="font-weight: bold">Impact Data Books Inc. www.impactdatabooks.com </span>

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Damn... These look incredible. .30, .264 and .223 cards so far too. .243 and .338 coming soon?

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

It's every bit as simple and easy to use as the FDAC, just snap it in your data book and roll. There are over 150 different models so far, and more being made daily.

We've done a TON of tesing to verify the data contained in the cards and it's dead nuts accurate.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

.243 and .338 stuff is almost ready as well.

Just to be clear, the Density Altitude Estimation Table is on the back of each data card. In the photos above, they are shown seperately so you can see both sides in the same photo. It's extremely simple.

We found that by color coding the cards, the user can find any firing solution on the card in under 5 seconds. I actually took new users, had them read the instructions, and timed them.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

This is awesome. especially since im fixing to order a data book the .338 that just got its scope today
    smile.gif
. You guys have top notch stuff!

Edit: is this only for the large data book and not the pocket?

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Right now they are only available for the standard size books.

We are exploring options to bring you this great product in pocket size. We may have to look at changing layout and making it a two page item in order to make it visible and not to hard to read!

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

I hear ya! i think it will be well on 1 page layout. very fast! You guys know me too well! .260 will be my next bolt and a .223 wylde ar-15 is soon to follow. IDB has me covered.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Any plans of adding the .264 berger VLD and hybrids by chance?(around 2777fps if you please lol)

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

I know we have plans of covering everything out there. This is just the initial run of these pages.

Best thing you guys can do is keep dropping your bullet requests and velocity bands in this thread.

The ACTS/IBD team will keep compiling a master list and we will do our best to fill the requests as fast as possible.

We will keep you posted of the new releases and master list in this thread!!

Glad we can help take care of you guys!!

How about SMK 175s? Or did I miss those?

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Do the pages offer corrections beyond 1000?

    Great question!

The 155 scenar, 208 amax, 210 berger, and all of the 6.5mm/.264 cards list firing solutions out to 1200 yards.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

They came out even better than I was expecting. Logging on to place an order now.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

    What caliber launches the 142s @ 2900? Surely not a 260

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Just to update the crowd with answers to PM's i've been receiving:

    <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">Broad Stuff:</span></span>

-The FDAC and the MILSPEC-XR FDAC are still around and selling very well, we just decided to diversify our offering to answer the continually growing market of civilian shooters that shoot a multitude of different calibers and bullets. This allowed us to make the most affordable DA based product available, for everyone's flavor of ice cream. The AQC offerings will continue to grow, and the Adaptive/Impact Data Books team is one that prides itself on thinking outside of the box.

    <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">Technical Hubbub:</span></span>

-We color coded the DA Estimation Table so that a negative DA value could not accidentally be confused with a positive DA value, in example -3000DA vs. +3000 DA.

-The distance increments on all of the AQC cards are in 50 yard increments to 800 yards, and then in 25 yard increments to the maximum range displayed on the cards.

-The red cells, as found in the original FDAC product, indicate the distance that a particular projectile will go sub-sonic at a given density altitude (DA).

Thanks for the support, we've had a great response to the new AQC product line.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

To the poster who found me 175SMKs-Thanks. It's amazing how dumb one can be sometimes.

i plan to order those plus some AMAX pages.

    Let's see if I can get a valid caliber request: 123SMK for lbc .264 ( i.e Grendel).

I've got a bunch of loads entered in Shoofer and use the program regularly. on the other hand I love my FDAC and would like to add equivalent pages to my book.

Thanks: hope I haven't screwed this one up as well

Thanks for this product. Also to Tony for the customer support.

I would like to added cards for 6.5 Grendel.

    Wow them things cruise

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Glad to be able to help out guys.

These are great for any shooter running data of DA. You will not find a better product or one that is so cost effective as well.

You guys had us working full speed this weeekend to keep up with the incredible amount of orders as well as AQC orders.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

I'm definitely going to pick some up for the 6.5mm 123 Lapua. Please let me know when they are available on the site.

BTW, any possibility of making a card of these that will drop into the FDAC for non-308 days?

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Received my card today and it's awesome. Clean and very quick to get the info you need. Can't wait to put it to the test!

    Thanks again.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Thanks for the feedback and glad you like them!

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Going to run the 140 AMAX card this weekend at Score High. Comparing it to known data it looks right on. Good job guys.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

[\quote]BTW, any possibility of making a card of these that will drop into the FDAC for non-308 days? [/quote]

Was wondering about this as well.

Also, would love to see a super durable plastic version of the book pages since these will live in my data book and never (or very rarely) removed.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

great you have the 208 amax
    smile.gif

i will be getting one when that MOAR holdover sheet is done

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

We had great success running the cards this week at the Score High match in NM this weekend!!

MartyM - I dont think there is any planns to make new slides to put into the FDAC.

The new AQC is the fix to the requests of shooters wanting specific bullet and velocity combo's.

ACTS has already been hard at work on new cards and calibers and we will be getting these to print here soon.

Thanks to everyone for the purchase's. Please post some feedback for the rest of the shooters.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Say I'm pushing a 140 Amax at 2825, with DTAC cards you add or subtract 1000 DA for every 25FPS differnce than the cards stated FPS, is that the same with these?

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

Yes, that method works very well with the AQC, the FDAC, and just about any DA based system.

Re: IDB & ACTS release AQC -Density Alt. Cards

We are working on getting you a updated bullet and velocity matrix posted for everyone.

    More new cards coming soon!
