I so want this to happen as I just acquired a 40x barreled receiver. I really want to make this my M40A3 trainer/plinker matching my work gun!!!!

couple more months and we will be at 3 years.
Is the stiller Repeater ever going to happen either.
I am beginning to wonder if no one is going to make the conversion or a repeater for the same reason Remington pretty much stopped making the 40X repeater in the first place

My idea was to make a frame that drops in the mag well with adjustments for height and pitch angle to play around with a Marlin or other common magazine. That way you could tune it til you get reliability and then make solid units from those experiments.
Just thinking out loud. I have none of the experience of the OP and pretty much limited to timing adjustments on feed lip release in certain tempermental firearms.
I think the biggest issue is the bolt's geometry to get the round stripped off. With new bolts being made may was well redesign them to match a magazine lip profile.

They build their own rimfires. Our repeater is still on the drawing board. We just never seem to have enough time. When we get in our new building, maybe a few new employees can be added and give us more time for this kind of stuff.

The Model 605 is finished and I have a SLS prototype of the Magazine. The BlackOps Magazine will plug into any DBM that accepts the SA AICS magazine.
In addition, the Repeater Conversion Kits for the 40XB are also finished. Availability of the Model 605 will be October and the conversions should start in August.

Yep, we're making magazines and doing full blown conversions to the 40X. The BlackOps Technologies Model 605 is in production and we're taking Pre-orders for those on the list.
