Texas would be tough to beat. We have Fort Hood, Fort Bliss, Dyess AFB, lots of naval air stations on the coast, the Pantex plant where nukes can be assembled and disassembled, the battleship Texas, Texas A&M, and the big tittied Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.

Population size would obviously play a huge role, I think that many states will be equally matched in terms of armament and skill, so it will mostly be a battle of attrition. I think that in the end, it will be down to Texas, Kommiefornia (it has the largest population by far), and Florida, the winner in my opinion can be any of these, but I think Florida has the advantage of being the most isolated of the three, so I would go with Florida.

The country's sixth biggest population, a shit ton of gun owners and one of the highest hunting popultaions in the country. Not to mention a lot of mountains to defend from.

One other thing about PA is that the NG has been deploying around the world for a least two decades. They have troops in Afghanistan. They are the second largest NG in the country. They must remain in a state of readiness at all times to keep their roll with the regular Army too.

Be it a batt, the BDE, or one of our aviation units(dustoff or Apaches). And for the most part we have better equipment than a lot of Active units. An example would be the xm2010. My unit was the first to field them Conus according to the 2010 fielding guys. We got them right before we went to Astan. Heck I have buddies that are still active that call me and ask questions about them because they haven't gotten theirs yet.

I think the key is population and willingness to fight. Think Texas wins that hands down.

Oklahoma win's hands down. We have Surgeon and John Beanland here to build us the best rifles money can buy. Every man, woman and child here knows how to shoot a bolt action. Invaders would not make it within 1000 yards of our border without catching a precision shot to the chest.

We would then cut off all meth to our meth heads for a week. After a week we would airdrop bags of meth to the states North, East and West and turn our meth addicts loose strapped with time delayed incendiary bombs. your cites would be set ablaze.

Then we turn our attention South. That one is pretty easy. We wait until the second Saturday of October and send the OU football team into Texas. Texas will crumble like they always do.

Which would be none. But my guess is that the missiles surrounding Malstrom AFB would have power.

In 2011, Washington was the leading producer of electricity from hydroelectric sources and produced 29% of the Nation's net electricity generation. Washington ranked sixth in the Nation in net generation of electricity from wind energy in 2011.

Idaho consume more Energy per Capita then California even does. Ranked 21 out of 51. 52% of Idaho's electricity consumed was imported from other States. Your entire hydroelectric provides only 80% of your own States power.

Which state came out on top would be largely irrelevant for most of the people who get whacked during the infighting. By the time it is all over, we would probably be much worse off than we were at the end of the civil war.

I think the results would be much more catastrophic simply because our skill at killing each other off has increased many times over since the muzzle loading, single shot, unrifled muskets that were the mainstay of the civil war. Sure, there were rifles, but muskets were much more common.

Somehow I don't think Jersey will come out to well. Chris Christie is anti gun & CCW. Don't even think of suppressors! Second, there is a little college right down the street from me, that with the exception of Ted Cruz from Texas is pretty much very left wing. I cast my vote for Texas. When I was in half the Marine Corps was from Texas. Also our state is mostly made up of small country towns and I think after Alaska we probably have some of the most guns per capita. Lots of heavily armed people here have to give my vote for Texas.
