If you knew the back story of his rapid transport back to the UK and the surrounding circumstances, the unfairness of this would be even more disgusting. A suspended sentence is only a start.

Re: Followup on betrayal of SAS NCO sniper

I refer to my previous post in the thread you linked to Veer. The Faggotry of Great Britain in this matter is beyond astonishing.

tThe elite of 2 generations ago were largely veterans of the World Wars where the spectrum of political belief was surely extant but clearly a far greater reliance on stoicism, common sense and a revulsion of blatant gutlessness was nearly universal.

The outright embrace of subordinate, prostration to the new "ideal wimp"; to the point of persecution of the traditional male values by means of suppression, discrimination in academia, journalism, entertainment and the legal system, among other fields, is unmistakable in this travesty.

Given the facts of this matter, the "Authorities" in this matter should have scoffed at any suggestion that Sgt. Nightengale should suffer more than a STERN MEMO regarding the pistol and Ammo in question.

Outrage doesn't come close to describing the nightmare he and his family have endured at the hands of the twisted justice system of the country he served so ably and courageously.

Thank God there is some vestige of fairness in Great Britain. Perhaps there is hope for that once great nation.

The unit CO was responsible for transporting the pistol back to Britain and should be seen in court martial for violating British Arms laws. Everyone from the unit CO down the CoC KNEW that he was given the pistol in theater and are therefore culpable as much as the good Soldier is. In other words, no crime has been committed within the ranks of the unit, or the entire CoC should be held liable for not looking out for it's subordinates

Not to mention this guy was no ordinary hero and had down his all for his country. That judge should be ashamed of himself. He could have done all kinds of punishments but sent him to prison anyways - wow!. Veer_G you inspired me to go look at what I was commenting on. Interesting story on how the warriors get treated.

First I've heard of this but I fully agree with what you said.

OMG a GLOCK pistol heaven forbid you gotta be kidding me what is wrong with brits, GET A HOLD OF YOURSELVES!!!! is your country ruled by a dictator?? why do you elect people who hate guns.

I have to admit I have been a luke warm supporter of the second amendment supporting it just not actively, but in the last few years I have come to believe its actually our most important right of all, and if I could only have one right of the constitution it would be the 2nd amendment.
