I'm a SKD Tac fan and have purchased a shit load of stuff from them. Anyone remember the time Osama met his maker? SKD had a huge sale to celebrate. Didn't see anyone else do that.
They are pretty creative.

I'm waiting for some business to hot brand the list price onto the mags in such a way that attempting to remove the brand would destroy the mag. Perhaps hot branding the price onto the mag would make it a touch more difficult to move..but when people are desperate, they might buy them anyhow.

I think we really need to try to get people on board with SKD's mentality by encouraging people to follow their lead and donate.

Specifically, I think we really need to encourages people selling above retail to consider donating some portion of their earnings from high-priced (above-MSRP) sales to the NRA. Because SH is well-respected, I think the impact of this could be great. If even a small proportion of high-priced sellers donate even 10% of their profit, the influx of support to the NRA (or other causes) could be truly impressive and help solidify our rights in the short-term future.

I think the impact could largely come from the fact that many people rushing to make money have not thought of the idea. I am sure there are sellers who are going to keep all of the money themselves, but again, I think many would see the value of such a proposition and send a donation. (If someone selling a BCG from $300 can't donate 10% of their $150 profit to help secure their rights, we're likely going to be screwed in the long run.)

As a community, we could have a huge impact if we donate as much as we reasonably can, as soon as we can. On the other hand, if we think solely about our own personal wants/needs our rights will almost surely continue to erode.

That is great! Guys, the NRA does need money. They are going to do everything in their power to push back. I have a source at Fairfax that says they will not roll over. I work for the local F-NRA (the non-profit fundeaising wing) and serve as area vice-president. I hate to say, we raised less money the last two years than the two before. Membership fees barely cover the cost of processing them. Joining simply isn't enough.

If all companies did this and only donated half of the profit, there would be a nice chunk of change to fight this legal battle.

Id order from SKD anyway. They have great prices and reasonable of free shipping, and they also dont waste any time getting it out. Nice that they aren't gouging like CTD.

NRA needs more money so they can send out useles pamphlets, not back any real gun lititgation, then swoop in and take credit of others. All while keeping their board of directors fat with cash and pissing money down the toilet.

SKD is stupid for this. Its called capitalism. They are free to sell for whatever they want, but this is just some stunt to look cool to a bunch of hypocrits. The same people who bitch about Obama then bitch about the free market.

I would have disagreed, but they were right- I was wrong, and now Obama is trying to ban our guns.

Magpul PMAG prices have dropped both on ebay and gunbroker in the last 48 hours.....looks like the "hoarders" are flooding the market...bad for them..good for us...

Both good causes, and I like the creative thinking! Will they be able to write off the contributions that go to SOWF?

My local shop had brand new gen 3 no window pmags marked @ $49.99 hanging on their big Magpul display case. They acted like that was just the regular price to the couple guys I heard ask about it. Jerks.
