where to buy quality/ match grade .22 LR ammo...all sold out!
Midway shows they expect some Eley black box in this week, Wolf ME next month, everything else who knows. Just remember they haven't stopped making it, it should get better eventually. Then you'll be able to buy it cheap from the people who don't even know why they are buying it now.
Tuna, I was wondering about that. How do you know what lots to buy? And if I buy all from one lot, they should be relatively consistent, no?? I understand lots may vary, but unless I but from several lots and experiment, how would I know?

Eley Match box of 50, Lot 1356@1054 Eley Match box of 50, Lot 1370@1053 Eley Match box of 50, Lot 1385@1057 Eley Match box of 50, Lot 1386@1061
This is the way,I like them tighter then this but same machine and close in velocity. That is what I look for in new lot's ......Usually you win find a good lot or two in that grouping.
When you see this, better to pass
Lot 3316@1058 Lot 3319@1081 Lot 3327@1060 Lot 3331@1072
Hope this helps.
And if you buy all from one lot it is luck of the draw. A lot of people say that find the right lot for your gun and it will shoot. If I find the right lot it will shoot in anything I have. Get test lot's before you commit.
The Wolf and SK is regular from wher I get it, 5.50 and 7.50 a box of 50. For 17.49 a box of 50 I will buy the Lapua Center X and that is overpriced at that runs between 9-10 a box.
Who makes the low-cost plinking-grade stuff? I"m not very familiar with .22LR ammo, and have only ever used cheap stuff. I just want to be able to get my son out to shoot his Davey Crickett rifle. The Match stuff is too costly to me. Thanks.
