Last year I traded some 300WM ammo with a guy in Philly...very knowledgeable gentleman...sure would like to speak to him again...or someone with a real grip on engineering, chemical engineering and load dynamics...

I have an idea/concept that could set the ammunition industry on its ear...something I've been ruminating on for a decade or more...had an epiphany the other day...I know how to make it work now...

R&D would be fairly simple and low cost but I need a chemical engineer...someone who is willing to sign a NDNC agreement..someone with ties to a small ammo company would be perfect...I want to make the bigs pay thru the nose for this technology...

I suppose you mean an idea? I have an old friend that was co-owner of a rifle mfg. who could probably put you on the right track. If you send me a PM with the parameters, I'll see about forwarding his e-mail.

Sorry, no info without Non Disclosure, Non Compete...

Imagine .308 that hits like 300WM, 300WM that hits like 50 BMG, 9mm that hits like 5.56mm with no marked increase in recoil and no chamber pressure issues...

Like I said...anyone know a small ammo company insider?

Dang, and I've had my ear-props waiting in the corner all this time and not a chance yet to use them.

Hell captain, that's enough for me to e-mail Rod and see what he says--if he has any ideas or positive feedback/suggestions, I'll let you know.

Best of luck whatever happens.

Mr. Matthews, you're not likely to get any helpful responses here because you are posting in someone else's thread on a completely unrelated topic. You should go to the Reloading main page, click on Post New Thread, and start your own thread with a title that is descriptive of what you want to know, and then ask your question again there. I'm sure someone will be glad to help you then.

You could try 1smalljohnson He is a member here and I believe he works at the St Marks Powder company. He is very knowledgeable with regards to what you are looking for. Just type his name in the search.

BE CAREFUL, BEFORE "SPENDING LOTS OF MONEY", ON A "NEW" IDEAS. REMEMBER, THE MILITARY GUYS HAVE AN r&d DEPT THAT'S VERY WELL FUNDED.1 I "invested $15 grand into a "new tech", back in the 80"s, and Sony beat me to the patent.
