No but seriously, that is a beautiful rifle. I'd love to have a rig like that. The barrel flutes are awesome. The carbon XLR is sweet. turned out really nice. I'm pretty jealous.

Personal opine is optics should out perform the tool. You can't hit what you cannot see. Nice Tool and great selection on optics. If it shoots like she looks a few intended targets should take cover. Only way you will screw up is to sell it. Great first.
As many have said regarding chassis rifles, I'm now an convert. That's a beautiful build made with great taste. Well done. Bravo...

Action was Ion bonded and then Jon cerakoted the action and barrel sniper grey
Holy Crap!!! DAMN NICE RIFLE!! If you wouldnt mind telling us about the performance you get with the 22" barrel. Im considering chopping the 26" barrel on my 300wm down to 22 or 23", But Ive been wondering how it will do at that length. AGAIN, very nice rifle. The chassis is awesome. Very cool.

That barrel is just pure sex and I love how it all came together. I am lovin' it!! So in my eyes if it shoots as good as it looks, you did perfect.
What does it weight?
How deep are the flutes. Whats the width of the channel/rib?
To tell the truth, only thing you screwed up is you had the barrel finished too short, id have it finished at least 24" for a 300WM. That being said, my 06 shoots great with a 22" tube but the 300WM burns a bit more powder, 57 vs 75ish, Id think the powder could use a bit more room to burn, or not?
Without getting too far off topic, there was a thread some time back started by a fella who chopped his 300 to 20" and shot it suppressed without giving up too much velocity or performance. I'd say chop it and shoot it.
On topic, nice looking rifle. Did you match the chassis the bike on purpose?

Worked up some quick loads last night.
Mixed and non match prepped brass using 208 AMAX on 71gr of RE22 and Federal 215M
yielded this
Anything above 71gr went to sh1t. Velocities were right around 2780 out of the 22 barrel unsuppressed.

Top center group. Yep, that will work. Damn nice group there. Hmmm, Have you ever tried H1000?? It works nicely in 300wm with the 208amax. You might get a tad bit more velocity out of it too? Either way, your goin to be able to reach WAAAAAY out there. You have a damn good rifle there. It definately shoots as good as it looks. Have fun.
The bottom left was 71.2 and the bottom right was 71.4. I have about 10lbs of rl22 that I need to burn up before switching to H1000, I bought a bunch back in 08 and finally started using it but it shouldnt take long with 71grs per round
Damn. If you were nearer to me, I'd offer to buy a few pounds of that RL-22 from you to help you out! Oh, wait, I'm too jealous of your stick to do anything to help you!!! ;-)
fwiw, I always use RL22 in 300WM I load for. Dont think Id ever use that 215 primer though, that baby's HOT! Id like to see more groups shot with that 71grs, course that means pics, too.
Killer 1st build - just 1 thing - you used all cutting edge technology on your rig and then you put a 1950 tech bipod on it - kinda gives a "hubcaps on a Lambo" feeling - the only thing I'd change is get a Atlas on it - seriously tho bad fkn ass build bro
