The wife and I have decided to move north to Cheyenne Wyoming, we've both decided it would be better there. I've lived in Colorado all my life and it is changing too drastically, and not to my liking. Plus cost of living seems cheaper. No state income tax, no grocery tax, gas is cheaper, people are very friendly, and I work there. The commute is getting to me also.

Hopefully I could meet some of the members that live there. Or at least tell me where the good shooting ranges and open land are.

I spoke with a customer of mine in Maryland today. In a week the movers come and he is headed to Wyoming too.

It seems their state motto in MD "If you can dream it, we can tax it" is wearing a little thin with him.

I hear ya bro. I'm stuck in Colorado for at least another 2 years, then I intend to rob this state blind by selling the house at a fat profit, then not pay any state tax on the proceeds per my CPA. I'm thinking Wyoming too, just don't know where exactly. I'm self employed, so that helps.

    Just soooooo sick of Colorado.

    Good luck in Wyoming!!!

I have seriously been considering doing the same thing. Wyoming is looking better and better each day.

Wyoming is on my short list of potential moves as well. It takes second place thus far only to Alaska in my book. It will all hinge on where the girlfriend can get a residency next year. Wyoming only has two or three positions whereas Alaska has around twenty. My state is currently reasonably free but being bordered by Illinois and Minnesota just makes me think we aren't far from falling into full on libtardation.

I grew up in Cheyenne and plan on making a road trip back in a few to see the parents. I am still stuck out here in CA but I plan on getting out of here eventually. Cheyenne has changed a lot over the years but I went back last year I was disappointed with the local gun shops. The selection was crap and I found better selections out here in SOCAL and that is sad.

Jealous, I've always wanted to live out there for some reason. Get a nice little cabin and nice spread of land. Often thought of purchasing some land and building on it once I retire and just let it site there until that time.
