Hey Guys,
The june 29 match is a go! Round count will be 72 and and it will be held here on the wetside just east of Sedro Woolley. Shots will be starting around 600 and go out to a mile. 338 Lapua is the max caliber, feel free to bring 2 rifles if you want :) Most shot will be angled up/down and we will be crawling for our shooting locations on a couple stages. Like I said before the only rule is your hips need to be on the ground or on a supporting structure touching the ground, pack is fine, nothing more. Please pm me for more info or to sign up.
Thanks,
Chris

Life in the country is good ;)

Man that moose was pretty close to you and obviously wasn't worried about you being a threat.
Must of thought you we're Bigfoot with your grizzly appearance, so that can only mean that Bigfoot really is a vegetarian :)

Going to be heading up to the acme spot this sunday with a friend who has never shot past 100 yards to introduce him to the sport. If anyone wants to meet up, I'll be there around 10am and should be there till at least 2

Fine...I think I'll walk south on the property and send a few myself. The mosquitoes are getting vicious though... Still working on the same barrel Kirk? I'm gonna shoot up my loaded ammo for the 6.5 and ship mine to Benchmark!

Still shooting on the same barrel Craig. I really want it to start shooting bad so I can justify a new one, but it has yet to go south. I figure I will put 50 down it tomorrow (all the ammo I have loaded) and see how it does, should put it at around 2700 rounds, not bad for a 243

Washington Shooters!

I'll be placing an order with Flatline Ops and I would like too offer the chance to get in on it! Please let me know what you are interested in and I will get you a price.

Thanks,

Hey guys,

Anyone looking for a new Nightforce Competition 15-55x52mm scope, send me a PM or an email. The USA F/TR team has a number of scopes from NF that we are selling as a fundraiser. The prices aren't necessarily better than you'd find elsewhere, but the money is going to a good cause.

Thanks,

Monte

Sounds like a blast. I'll be in Vegas so a no-go for me, but I love the 2 gun approach. Next time...

Those monthly matches are a blast. Glad to see you're keeping them going Jim. I sure had a lot of fun this year at all the matches with you guys.

A huge thank you is in order to our hosts yesterday up in Sedro Wooley, for a great ELR match! Chris, Ron and Barry of Benchmark Barrels put us through a challenging course with long shots across open spaces, with a nice helping of angle and switching winds for flavor! It was nice to see some familiar faces and meet a bunch of new ones. My wife and I had a great time, as always, hanging out with like-minded people and soaking up some sun. I've uploaded her pictures to a folder, including the duplicates, so y'all can comb through and hopefully find something memorable.

I second this. It was a great match. A little warm for my liking but it was good to spend a day shooting with everyone. Tibors friend Nick had a blast and is now in search mode for a 300WM of his own for the next one.

Wishing I didnt have to work yesterday! Glad it was fun... Hope to make the next one.

Thanks everyone for coming out and getting sunburned as well as smackin stee way out there! Thanks Jeff for the steel at the 1300 stage and all my RO's!
I'm lookin forward the next one!
Chris

Chris, it looks like you've run out of fingers and toes to tabulate scores and are struggling!

Seriously, looks like the weather was a helluva lot nicer on the wetside than it was here yesterday(thunderstorms & periodic downpours for about half of the day). Great scenery, and a nice place to shoot. Nice pics Mrs. Jason- but you need to get a rifle and shoot .

Back to your regulary scheduled programming...

Hey Folks!

Hats off to Chris and the folks at Benchmark for putting together a great day of shooting! Here's a link (ELR SHOOT) to the web-album of 133 photos of the 365 I took at the ELR (Extreme Long Range) shoot this weekend,... Hopefully, the Picasa link works,... They "updated" (read: screwed with a perfectly functioning program) the Picasa program since I used it last. Let me know what you think. I'm going to try and put together a vid of it as well. Enjoy!

Great pics, Ryan. Thanks again to Chris for hosting the match in another beautiful spot. I enjoyed the stage where we threw rocks at that damn turkey after most of us missed hitting it @ 1600 yards :p

That turkey is awesome!!!

Glad you guys and gals had a good time. Looked fun. I'll try to make the next match with my 338 edge....
