Swivels for TIS Sling?

I ordered a TIS slip cuff sling from Brownells, which lists it as 1.25" wide. I ordered some 1.25" QD swivels with it. The sling is too wide. I measured the sling and it is actually 1.5" wide. I searched high and low on google for 1.5" QD swivels. The only ones I could find were chinese junk on amazon.

I also saw mention on a forum of 1.5" swivels made by MI and a company called "Damage". I went to both on the companies' websites and it appears that neither currently makes 1.5" swivels.

Does anyone know where I can find a pair of quality 1.5" QD swivels?

I don't think you will. The sling is wide in the swivels but that is not an issue. The width comes in handy as the sling passes over the back of your wrist or supporting the weight of the rifle over your shoulders.

So are you telling me to just squeeze it through the 1.25" swivels?

Check Brownells for a 1.5" QD. I just ran my TIS through the ones Triad sent with the sling. I think they are 1.25".

If I recall correctly, the sling is 1.5" wide but is meant to be used with 1.25" swivels, it is supposed to reduce rattling of the swivels on the sling when on the rifle.

Dont stress about the webbing in the 1.25" swivels, the webbing with go through fine. Get some talon swivels and rock on.

Sorry been out of USA. My 1.45/1.5" wide slings are designed to use 1.25" wide swivels. For a Remington style QD set up I use Talons. If you have one of my slings two are 10.00 plus shipping from me
