Nemo Rifles: Considering becoming a dealer

I am considering becoming a Nemo rifle dealer. I have had some demand for them and have been asked a lot of questions from potential buyers. They are pricey but I cannot attest to their quality. Most of the demand seems to be for the 300Win Mag (Omen model).

I did find some info here on SH but wanted to bounce the idea off of the 'sounding board'. It is a big investment for me to stock them and need some feedback! Thanks indvance.

I would be amazed if any AR in a 300 win mag would be a consistent shooter under 2moa, maybe 1.5moa tops. It would be cool to shoot once but id never own one as the performance vs price (reload or factory ammo) wouldnt be worth it in comparison to a 6creed or 260. If i was to get anything other than 308, then it would be a 6creed or 260. Ammo would massively cost less, would be crazy accurate with little recoil, over all rifle wouldnt weigh as much, and would have great performance out to 1000yards.

300win mag is pushing the 50cal "coolness" factor and thats about it. Would be fun to shoot but id never own one due to the above reasons.

Well, FWIW, I own an Omen, it is a beast. I have not yet had a chance to actually see what it is capable of, every time I'm able to get to the range, the wind is always blowing 40mph. And yes, I own it, if for no other reason, just because I wanted it, not because of need or practicality.

Supposed to get some range time on one soon. Those who HAVE shot them have given pretty good reviews, but I like to shoot them myself... or at least spot. I find that shooting is a lot like fishing with regard to AAR's.

Keep in mind.. these were NOT really designed for us, just made available to us. There are those who truly need the downrange energy of the 300WM, but I question the requirement of a semiauto. At the ranges that make the 300WM a necessity, TOF almost negates the advantage in a spot-miss-and-correct scenario. And pounding away at closer ranges seems a little gratuitous.

The Omen is a very high quality rifle and they are very accurate. They have been well recieved by the SF community and I have done the Cerakote work on a number of them for current SF personnel and have one in the shop now for one who is currently deployed in Afghanistan. There has been interest for about the past 10 years by NAVSOC to field semi-auto sniper rifles for all calibers below 50BMG, I know this from first hand meetings. Also note, that one of the principals of NEMO is retired Gen Paul Vellely.

Bottom line, the Omen is a very high-quality, accurate and reliable rifle and folks at NEMO are great to work with and have a lot of experience in the industry. Wheather certain individuals feel the need for one is a personal matter.

What kind of accuracy are we talking about here? Do they have an accuracy guarantee?
