Probable velocity of FGMM 77gr SMK BTHP from a Noveske SS 1-7 Infidel 13.5 inch barrel?

Might not be the right area, but I figured you guys would be able to give the best info.

The box says 2720 MV, but I don't know what twist/length barrel Federal uses for that number, and in the absence of a chrono I could use an educated guess at velocity I might see. Need something to plug into Strelok.

Can't help direct question but I lack a chronograph as well.

Could one shoot say small groups at different ranges, say 100, 200, and 300 yards without adjusting scope and use the change in POI to calculate velocity?

This is an approach I have been considering.

My 10.5" SBR loses 121fps to my 16" carbine with 75gr handloads, maybe this will help some. It's hard to say without knowing what barrel length Federal was using.

Yeah, until I get a chrono I'm just going to have to compare drops to what iStrelok says for different velocities, which I've done before. I'd rather feed the App good info, then check it's output instead of the other way around! Need magnetospeed....
