6.8 spc killed one of them the other one I killed with a .308.the ar-15 is 6.8spc

I have never been big into pursuing yotes. I shoot them when I see them but haven't ever gone after em. Haven't seen any this year when I had a gun in hand.

Nicely done. I have one elk tag left which I will start trying to fill towards the end of the month. What load/bullet did you use in the 6.8? I have been wanting to try one of my 6.8s on elk.

I used a Sierra 110 grain pro hunter and 24.5 grains of H4198 with an OAL of 2.255. This was the first elk I killed with a 6.8 and I was very impressed. Bullet entered the back of the lung on the facing side and exited all the way through out the far shoulder destroying both lungs.
