I think the Badger guys are coming as well as a couple guys from CZ.

I will be making the trip down. Would like muzzle brakes as well, but the thread protector will be making an appearance on this one.

For the guys going can you square these guys away. I read the COF and it certainly isn't the kind of thing we are used to

There is not a lot they can do about it. It's a square 200-300 Benchrest range. Has a 500 High power lane but all targeted has to be on the berm. You cannot do much there along the lines of what we are used to.

Yeah, the size and layout of the facility really doesn't allow a match in the format most tactical shooters are used to. That being said, it was still really fun and surprisingly challenging for the shorter distances involved. It was a cool day and yet mirage was somewhat of a factor and on hotter days I'm told mirage is hell to deal with out there. Plus the winds were real switchy and gusty.

It was a fun little match put on by some really nice people and the competitors were great. It also made for a nice afternoon of practice in between the bigger events.

I hope they do it more often.

Just got the results in.

2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th were tight. 1st kinda ran away with it.......good job Jimmie!

That sounds like it was a fun match. Wish I would have noticed this sooner was in KC all weekend at the in-laws. Would have been a great excuse to get away for the day.

Thanks! It was a fun and interesting competition. It was run very well.

There were several very good shooters there. I think it was up for grabs until the elimination stage. Great shooting by everyone!

Good job man!

Bring the most accurate rifle you've got down to Texas sometime for a match.

It's was those damned Popsicle sticks that got me. I only got 4 and at 10 points a piece a few more woulda really helped. Also on the barricade, I was a little surprised at the weight given to speed VS the accuracy.

The last man standing stage was a great idea.....I had never done it before. Kinda nerve racking waiting to hear the call back from the pit to see who is eliminated.

Lotta fun.

Yeah, I should have taken a different approach to the popsicle sticks. I also had the wrong dope on my rifle and still managed to hit 6. Turned out to be my worse stage.

The barricade (positional) stage was tricky as the barricade was very un-steady (perhaps by design).

The elimination stage was awesome, but waiting for the result after each round was a bit tense. I was position #6, and early on in the final I heard them call the lowest shooter "number six.......teen". I mean seriously, was the long pause necessary?

Looking forward to the next match.
