Help Out a Colorado Flood Victim

One of our fellow members, ScottyD, lost his home, car, wife’s business to the floods here in Colorado. Like so many Estes Park residents, they did not have flood insurance. Their home was outside of a 500yr flood plane.

A couple fellow Colorado members who shoot local steel matches with ScottyD, had the idea of putting together a rifle to get a few bucks for he and his wife. With the generosity of several SH vendors, the rifle was built.

All funds need to received by November 28th. I'm drawing for it the first week of December. The rifle will be shipped from TriggerTime Gun Club to your FFL in the Pelican case.

Thanks to the vendors who stepped up and a couple members who pushed this through.

Thanks to everyone for stepping up and helping !

OH MAN that is terrible! That's my nightmare to lose my house to fire or flood.

I'll pitch in a TAB GEAR rear bag, SAC, Dope Thing, Sling Thing, and regular rifle sling of your choice of colors and swivels.

I hope you sell lots of tickets Frank.

Good luck in rebuilding your life ScottyD.

    I'm in for 1.

Glad the mods let us help out. Too many forum mods really shun 'fundraising' efforts for members. That's what communities do. I'm not a big part of this one, but glad I can help at least a little.

I am in for two tickets. Great cause, I live in Loveland and know a lot of people who were effected. But great to see so many people coming together on so many fronts to help each other out.

I gotta send a huge THANKS out to everybody involved with this. As you can imagine, my wife and I are in a world of sh*t right now, and it means more to us than I can say to see this kind of generosity and support from all of you guys. We are absolutely amazed and overwhelmed by how many good people there are here in the shooting community. I feel like I've aged 10 years in the last 2 months after this flood, but your support lifts our spirits and gives us hope towards rebuilding our life. Thanks to Kevin U (this was his idea and he got it all together), Frank (for allowing and supporting this on the hide), AJ at Bighorn (Kevin tells me AJ did not hesitate for a second on donating an action), Beanland, XLR, Butch's, Triggertime, Milehigh, Spuhr, anybody pitching in for a raffle ticket... If I ever get back on my feet and am in a position to support these vendors, they'll have my support for life. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    With gratitude,

    ScottyD

EDIT: I just found out who mochamoon@comcast is. You're THE MAN, Todd! Thank you!
