Help Out a Colorado Flood Victim
One of our fellow members, ScottyD, lost his home, car, wife’s business to the floods here in Colorado. Like so many Estes Park residents, they did not have flood insurance. Their home was outside of a 500yr flood plane.
A couple fellow Colorado members who shoot local steel matches with ScottyD, had the idea of putting together a rifle to get a few bucks for he and his wife. With the generosity of several SH vendors, the rifle was built.
Bighorn TL2 action/AW Cut/20 MOA scope rail
Chambered by Jon Bealand in 6.5x47
Bartlein 24” 8 twist Medium Palma
XLR Carbon Chassis
Remington 40X trigger
Spuhr Mount
Atlas Bi-pod
Pelican case
Bead blast finish on barreled action
Here’s a chance to have a very nice rifle built on quality components chambered by one of the top gunsmiths in the country. Tickets are $50. Everything going to ScottyD. To get in, post a reply here stating “I’m in for 1 ticket, 2 tickets…..” followed by an e-mail here,[email protected] , titled ScottyD with your daytime phone, user name, address….. You’ll get a return e-mail with where to send the funds. The member donating his time to the e-mails has a full-time job, he’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. All funds need to received by November 28th. I'm drawing for it the first week of December. The rifle will be shipped from TriggerTime Gun Club to your FFL in the Pelican case.
Any questions about the rifle post them here.
Thanks to the vendors who stepped up and a couple members who pushed this through.
