The flag gives little doubt as to where this mule is headed. Kalli pulled a late nighter getting this ready for this mornings assembly.

    Here's the digits:

Borden Accuracy LH Timberline Magnum action
Brux 30 caliber 1:10 ROT #3 SS barrel chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum
Dakota Arms bar stock machined M700 LA floor metal
    LH Jewel TS trigger
McMillan Carbon light fill Rem Classic stock
    The rest is our stuff.

Were calling this our "LoneStar" holographic. It would seem we should have thought this out better. One of Jerry's actions would have really completed the package in this instance. Oh well, Jimbo makes one hell of a nice piece too. :)

As it sits the rifle weighs in at: 6.9lbs. Good thing we put a .800" Decel pad on it. She's gonna be a rock concert when it goes bang!

Notice the slight gap at the back of the tang? In this instance its there by design. The light fill and lack of recoil reduction on the muzzle end compelled me to build a little clearance at the very back of the tang. This rifle is going to thump as its a 300WM and rather petite in weight. I'd hate to see the tang take a big ol chunk out of the stock as a result of the stock flexing around the magazine box while in recoil. This is just a little added insurance. .01" was whizzed off the back of the receiver after I bedded the stock.

I feel envy growing inside me. I will leave you with "congratulations". I am going to go sulk now.
