Is there a field worthy two stage Trigger with...

Is there such a thing as a field worthy two stage trigger that has an adjustable shoe for length of pull for those of us with long monkey fingers? I'm currently using a calvin elite on a classic aics chassis and find the grip a little cramped when prone.

It's not a 2 stage, it's a single stage with a takeup. The difference may seem inconsequential to most but there is a definitive difference at how the trigger functions and the safety level of it.


The Tubb can be made to fit a lot of things that it doesn't drop into. Typically we have to trim the shoe, reshape the bottom edges and then mill away places inside the DBM/Chassis to make it work.

Where there's a will there's a way.

Doesn't that seem ridiculous? I'm not sure what David was thinking with that. I really like the trigger and think it works very well, but when you take the most expensive trigger on the market and then have to do a bunch of custom one off work to make it fit, it just seems easier to get something else. Like the BnA.

I don't know why he did it that way for the shoe. Maybe it's oversized specifically so people can trim it down to make it fit if need be. As far as the size internally they do have some features that just take up space, it's how that goes. It's all inside the stock anyway so it's not like it can be seen from outside the rifle. I'm not using one, I don't particularly care one way or another about it.

The BnA's have their own idiosyncrasies but then again, most things do when you spend enough time with them.
