Damn that's a beast, I've always wanted to go Halibut fishing.
Getting hungry just thinking about a stuffed Halibut steak.

Damn. Largest I ever caught was just over 3ft, and it took me and my kayak for a decent ride (never mind trying to gaff that bitch in to the yak without capsizing). Damn near spooled me twice...
He's gotta big But. 
Seen that earlier and it's good to see they're still getting some Barn Doors outta the Straits. Most go out to swiftsure and end up with dismal sizes. That's a legit But for the location.

They say the giants dont taste as good as the 80 lb and under size.
We got screwed with a shitbag captain last year in AK. Ldmf to the max. Know who I am going with next time based in their haul at the end of the day. And according to the locals, her haul always looks better than most.
Either way, grilled, Olympia style, fried, picatta with the cheeks its gonna be awesome.
