That hits close to home! One friend owned the small diner some of the filming was done in, another friend still own's the Red Vette rented them for the movie. Sadly, the Frat House was demolished 10+ years ago.

CSP use to have a few like that for HazMat stuff. Full box, enclosed.
They didnt pull over regular traffic unless dangerous stuff happening. Usually involved us getting called out for either a crash when running or medical (lotta psych and drugs).
They got newer ones now. The old ones rolled a lot of miles.

CSP still runs a work truck with a service bed and a small box truck with scales as well as the vans down here. PITA if you have a trailer.
