I see. There, I was just 'splaining what a real act of 'revenge' would be like. In most real life cases of vengeance, as well as in movies, the person seeking revenge usually goes after the direct source of his pain and suffering, and not go Law Abiding Citizen on that person's whole neighborhood. Historically, politically or religiously motivated groups who do the latter lose support from the public very quickly.

This would be true if the media/government wasn't running a 24/7 campaign for them.

It's somewhat open to interpretation in Acts, but my personal theology is not to call either any person or any food "unholy" or "unclean" unless it is a truly, physical/literal condition. As it pertains to religious dietary laws I'm ambivalent.

I am about as adventurous as it gets. I will try anything, and find myself liking almost everything that doesn't make me sick.

I'm fine with Kosher because I don't believe it requires a rabbi to do the butchering.

I don't want Muslims praying over my meal, they are probably praying for me to die.

I'm not going to support that at all.

Somebody said 1400 years of this, but, it's been longer than that.
In the mention of wheat and tares, the farmer can separate them and burn the tares, but they come back. The tares were created when the rock was formed, fact of life. Good farmer controls the tares in his crop.
Seems some people have forgotten to be good stewards of the rock, to keep the crops clean, and the weeds under control. Takes a lot of work.

Other weed seeds in a crop, sand spurs, seed is cracked open in fire, makes them spread faster. Other weed seeds lay dormant in the soil 7 years, some longer. Some sprout only when they surface in nature. It's up to the farmer to manage them.

The wheat makes the bread that feeds the farmer. It's in the farmers best interest to grow clean wheat.

The book of life is full of examples of poor farming practices, the farmers almanac offers advice.
Non farmers should not be in charge of the farm..... lots of people go hungry when the farm fails. BC-AD, nothing has changed in recorded history.

Sucks when weeds choke out the wheat, everybody will go hungry. Until the farm minded return to the farm ways for their own good, and clean the wheat, everyone who walks past the weeds in the wheat field and does nothing, may soon go hungry.

Farming is hard. Lots of outside influences can influence it, but hard working farmers can control weeds.

All farmers can have bad years and if prudent, historically recover.

For those that understand the references, that's why each generation must keep up the good work and not just coast on what the last generation did.
The results of growing weak, lazy and accepting of the weeds "just a little bit here and there"is now showing up in your face.
