So, now that Bartlien is making blanks for this it actually has my attention. Can someone with quickload do a service to us all and plug in some information to see if this is worth investing in.
Thank you in advance

Talk to the guys from blackjack bullets, i know they are really pushing the 25 creedmoor and 25x47

Bartleins been making blanks for a little bit. Everyone running the blackjacks find a node around 2940 and then 3050 I'm running an xcaliber and my buddy is running a kreiger. Bc proved to be .350 for both of us even though I went with the 2940 node and he runs 3050

This makes me excited to possibly switch from a 6creed to a 25 once I cook my current barrel.
I like giving the 6 and 6.5 creed guys grief as I beat them now. Weve had a lot of guys have vertical elevation problems from the wind we think these last few matches and the two of us running the 25s are always spot on.

What powder H4350?

I’m just getting my barrel broke in but right now my 25 creed is pushing 3020 FPS with H4350.

What oal are people running? I ended up throating mine out longer to seat closer to 2.87”.

Lots of guys in here have answered a bunch of questions with real world experience but If you have any more questions, I would be glad to help you out. I don't have access to quick load but I know a thing or two about the 131 ACE.

25 creed with the .130 freebore OAL and velocity nodes?
Barrel life at mid and high nodes, on average.

25 Creed velocity nodes: off the top of my head 2950 and 3010 from a 26" barrel?

Barrel life hasn't really come around yet. No one I know of has shot one out yet.

Not my numbers, but I've read A LOT on the quarterbores in the last few months and I think I've gone through every word BlackJack has put out.

OAL will come out about 2.865", Low node has seemed to in in the 2940-2950 fps range and high has been 3050-3070 fps with some seeing them around 3020.

I loaded up some .25CM with H4350, R26, and H4831sc and conducted a broad ladder test. I choose to then test potential nodes. Below is the data. R26 didn’t gain much over H4350 so I excluded it.
Edited to add: Peterson 6.5CM SRP Brass, .281 bushing, trimmed to 1.910, CCI SRP, 28” Bartlein with gemtech dagger suppressor

Can you please add bbl length, the brand of brass and primer that you used for these? The different manufacturers of creedmoor brass vary greatly in capacity and will effect the results of these tests.

Anyone else wonder if the larger manufacturers will hop on board with high BC 25 cal bullets? That's my only concern is what if the 131 runs dry?

If you're worried about it, the best time to jump on is right now. I used to worry about the same thing, but honestly it's new, some people are excited about it, and BlackJack has loads of pills right now (and orders in for more). If supply dries up in a year or two, then you probably have used up a good chunk of barrel life (with the way a lot of us shoot) so it's not a pain getting a new tube for a 6 or 6.5 flavor.

Take it a year or two at a time if you want, but I don't see BlackJack going anywhere soon. They've hit goals in 8 months that they had laid out in their five year plan. I've said it before, but they had all the pieces in place for a good launch BEFORE launch. They've had multiple barrel makers and reamer producers on board from the beginning and they're picking up more every month it seems like. Their growth has been astounding.

This is all without considering the cult following that 25 cal gathers. If sales aren't big after a while, I predict they'll be consistent at least. There's been a lot of people waiting for someone to do this for a while. It should be enough to keep a smaller company like BlackJack afloat.

Until that time, grab a barrel and shoot the lowest form-factor jacketed bullet on the market.

As for big manufacturers jumping on, I'm not really sure. Maybe they want their own slice of the market, but 25 cal shooters make up a fraction of shooters compared to 6 or 6.5 or even 30 cal. It may not be a big enough niche to support more than one company effectively and so the big guys might stay out of it because they don't think there's enough there for them.

BlackJack has future plans, so they don't see themselves going anywhere. A "hunting" bullet releasing this year and a design in their back pocket that Miles really wants to bring to market (it's heavy!). Take that how you will.

Ive got 4350 and rl16 to try. Waiting on my barrel from the smith now. Glad to see that 4350 is keeping up with rl26 b/c ive only got 3lbs of 26 and can't find it anywhere else. i can get 4350 anywhere.

I'm waiting on a response from PVA if it doesn't cost me anything to switch i'm going to start transitioning to 25x47.

That's what I'm doing. Figured if I was building my first custom I should pay a few hundred more than I had planned and get what I want. I'm not sure that PVA has a 25x47 reamer, only seen the 25 Creed on their site.

I had mine done by Greg at Bugholes. He's got the reamer I went in with him on and it set up for pre-fits if that's what you're into. Turn around for those is quoted at three weeks. The blank is going to be the hardest part to find just for the fact that all contours and twists are not always in stock. If you're looking I can try to keep an eye out for something.

So in February they had 25x47 reamers on order and were 8 weeks away he said. I jumped on a Black Friday barrel in November for $475 chambered and shouldered for my Impact. Plan was 20" med palma 6.5x47. But if i can change it to 25x47 at little to no cost i'll do so. My competition rig will be nearing 1700 rounds so while i'm not exactly on the fringe of losing that barrel it's getting over the 50% mark from what i'm expecting which is 2500-3000rds. Also ended up spending my tax return on a .223 trainer so that should alleviate some of my barrel use when time frees up.

over the next 3 months we have 150 bbls coming in from Hawk Hill, Bartlein and Krieger. Hawk Hills should be in next week!

Anybody else get any data with the alpha .25cm brass?

There is no reason it should be any better or any worse than the 6 or 6.5 versions. Basically a marketing gimmick that will be gone before the gay tiger is.
