Can somebody please shed some light on what the Dems, MSM and just about every talking head in media mean when they say Russia tried to "interfere" with the 2016 US election. They use two main words "meddling" and "interfering", but what exactly did Russia do or try to do? Did they actually try to hack into the voting machines and actually change votes? Did they try to use social media to influence opinion? I am clueless has to what exactly Russia did or didn't do. If Russia actually tried to hack in and change votes that is unacceptable of course, but if it's just using social media to influence opinion then I think its a big joke I don't care and I don't see the big deal. Hillary Clinton is as crooked as a mountain road and she didn't need Russia to point that out for her. I just don't get all this "Russia meddling / interfering" bullshit.

John Podesta or one of his aides allowed Russian hackers access to his computer by clicking on some bait in an e-mail. The hackers got into his e-mail and exposed the Democrats' campaign corruption including how they crushed the elderly commie to push Hillary. It's believed by many that this is how wikileaks eventually got their info, but some think that Seth Rich was the leaker there. That is very probable given his "mysterious" murder outside his apartment and Hillary's bodycounter ticking up by one.

Your theory makes an assumption that Russia and Hilary are on different sides. I think they are one in the same, Obama and the Bush Klan also.
The USA has been screwing around in the elections of other countries ever since I can remember...central and South America, Asia, and any where else they think they can affect elections to get some "pro American" candidate elected, the USA has had their fingers in the elections of other countries. Now that some other country is probably doing the same thing to us, we cry "foul" and howl about what a horrible thing it is for Russia to try and have some affect on our elections. The irony is lost on most folks.

I don't care if Russia or any other country tries to persuade public opinion of any candidate one way or another like said above I am sure we have been doing that for a very long time. Only thing that would be unacceptable IMO would be if votes can some how be changed. Exposing the truth about any candidate will always be a good thing no matter how it's done. I trust our own government as far as I can throw a tank.

I never understood the hysteria. I don't think there's many elections world wide that the US government does not try to influence. Not to mention all tHe governments we've straight up toppled. While the above is all true, the last part about "the problem is not the foreigners but the two parties and the individual criminals in these parties" might seem very obvious to many of us here, but seems to be largely overlooked by the electorate (the citizens who vote) here in the USA.
I want to say that if the electorate in the USA would only wake up, many of our problems could be solved. What really causes me to stop and think again how to solve the issues from which we suffer, is the possibility that the electorate is already really AWAKE, AWARE, AND BEING DELIBERATE about how they cast their votes.
Thinking that the electorate really is awake, aware and being deliberate with how they cast their votes is even more frightening than thinking that they are just ignorant and stupid, with a "consequences be damned" attitude.

I agree, but the ONLY actual indictments, and the ONLY actual EVIDENCE of Russian disinformation/confusion campaigns comes from the Russian Troll Farm case/story that was broken by Rolling Stone. Rush was on Fox this morning and played a sound byte of Obama dismissing the "Russian Interference" THREE WEEKS BEFORE THE ELECTION! He was dismissing it because he had been using the FBI and CIA to spy on the Trump Campaign since 2016, and he was 100% certain that Hillary was going to get elected, and he did not want anyone on the right accusing the Democrats of election tampering. Then the world exploded and the impossible happened, and the whole "Trump Russia Collusion" narrative was implemented to cover up all crimes that preceded the election.
It has worked. Here we are three years later, and the criminals still haven't been pilloried in the press or arrested and prosecuted.

Yes i believe the U.S has been meddling with with other country's election process and result, But do not be deceived it is impossible for Russia to do the same thing to us. Money is one of the most powerful tool in an election. Beside funding an American candidate, there's nothing else Russia can do. they can answer question for the candidate or teach him/her common sense and how to defuse crisis or all ingredient a president must have. There's no way Russia can manipulate the U.S election....

What I come to figure since the election of Donald Trump is when some one is doing, accusing or calling out for wrong doings, they are the ones doing the shit that they are blaming on other folks! 
Almost ANY country with enough money or access to intelligence could manipulate the election of another country. Sometimes they just have to be lucky rather than good. It is also possible that another country could be hoping to manipulate another country's election results to outcome "A", but that would fail, and they would end up with unforeseen and unplanned outcome "B". While "B" may not be the hoped for outcome, it would still be manipulation of the election. The country manipulating the election could even have things backfire and they would end up with an outcome that is detrimental to their hoped for result.

This is a true story from 1996, when I was helping some Russian delegation of two (2) to travel to Atlanta for a trade show. We entered the local bar, and of the Russians walked to the bartender (who looked like the proven U.S. citizen to me) and said to him - "Give me please six doubles of vodka in one glass". Looking at the bartender, I could clearly see that the state of the mind of this U.S. citizen (and I assumed he was also a voter) changed instantly with no possibility of getting back to normal.
