GAMER CHANGER TESLONG BORE SCOPE!!! -- FINALLY A QUALITY REASONABLY PRICED BORE SCOPE!

Yes the usb connections work fine with another camera. The Teslong was drawing power, as the light worked, just no data connection. I was looking at the computer screen when the image suddenly went black and Windows indicated that there was something wrong with the usb device. The replacement is scheduled to arrive Thursday. Hoping for better luck this time.

The replacement scope arrived today. So far so good.

Mine worked great...for about ten minutes. Plug and play on a dell laptop, all very easy, great image quality, etc. The problem came when I tapped the end of the camera just right I guess and the little reflective mirror popped off. Tried using a small dab of super glue to stick it back in place but the image couldnt be focused properly after trying to replace the mirror.

I am returning it through amazon and should have a replacement in a day or two.

It works awesome, better than expected. But it is very fragile. The camera line is very springy, making it easy to pop the camera head against something when pulling it out of the bore. Dont do that lol.

My Garand gas port
Still working on light and focus control.

Windows 7 laptop with software download and email to support for latest update as in manual.

I looked at the gas port on my Bartlein 6.5cm 22" +2 gasser this morning before heading to the range. Its ugly as hell. Shot 3 five short groups in a row with a 0.5" agg. If it shoots who cares what it looks like.

Just so you know I am not showing anyone my 6mm it is ugly

Got my camera today and it’s going back tomorrow. Amazon said it would work with MacBook and it doesn’t and doesn’t work with amazon fire. So no way to use thing.

Won’t work with a MacBook? WTF. What does it work with?

Mine shipped super fast even for prime, normally things take 2-3 days.
I was surprised, mine DID arrive today, as scheduled...Tracking was "confusing" showing it wasn't even shipped until yesterday... I immediately hooked it up to my Windows 10 laptop and followed directions, which were super easy..It worked as advertised. I DO have one problem though...While the scope works well, even the LED brightness wheel control works works. However, the "app" in Windows seems to think the LED's are too bright (White control???) and lowers the brightness level to what "it" likes...Counteracting my attempts to increase the light...When I check the LED brightness with the scope OUT of the barrel, the LED brightness seems to be linear with the wheel control...I'm going to try a different App to see if I'm right...Good pictures though!

An interesting feature of this nifty item.
It’s excellent at getting awesome closeup pic of booger’s and grossing out the females.

It that black ring the dreaded Carbon Ring??? Or is this at the muzzle???
Are you talking about the bottom photo of the 455? That is the rifling. The barrel is Cro Mo so it is a much blacker color.

My camera also seems to auto dim, as if the laptop is fighting the brightness adjustment of the camera. MacBook Pro.

I would screw the lock ring and mirror down towards the camera so that the light isn’t bouncing off of that metal tube all around it right back into the camera. It fixed it for me and actually gave me a better focus.

From Amazon:
Notice: This model does not support iPhone and iPad!!!
WiFi version of the rifle borescope supporting iPhone and iPad is under development, and coming soon.

Will the price of the WiFi model be considerably more than the standard version?
With WiFi, I can connect to my phone, and Bluetooth it to my 65" TV and BAM, I'll see every flaw of every gun I own...all in glorious 4K HD.

I will be all over it if the price is right.

So my camera head was loose and causing the brightness issues. It is much better now. This is a great camera!

Mine came last night. What is the micro USB supposed to fit? Mine fits neither my samsung s7 or my cheapie Samsung tablet.

Got it running on my laptop with win 7. I need a better cleaning routine....my poor guns.....

It's an USB C adapter, fits the newer phones. The S7 (same as I have) came with its own adapter and it worked as soon as I plugged the scope in.

If you look closely, the USB plug on your new camera flips down, exposing your Galaxy S7 MicroUSB plug. That's what I'm using right now on my Samsung Galaxy Tab4 with Teslong HD app. Not using the USB-C adapter..

Just got mine, it will work for about a minute then freezes up and I have to restart the app. Anyone else having this problem or any suggestions?

Also wanted to add... I upgraded to the Pro version of the Shen Yao app I had found... it's def worth the $5.99 upgrade.
I bought the Pro version for my Note 9 Samsung phone...Outstanding...Total control over all aspects of the camera, exposure, sharpness, etc. etc...Picture in Picture and on and on...

This is my one and only bore scope, so I have nothing to compare it to...But, I'm happy...

Pro version of the Shen Yao app. Also tried tried the Teslong HD and it just flashes instead of a steady picture. Maybe I got a bad one, I'm returning it to Amazon and going to try again.

Getting the hang of this thing. This is my CMMG 9mm PCC with 10,000+ rounds and counting. Very pleased to find my cleaning techniques actually work and this barrel still looks 100% throughout.

My "lunar" barrel...lol...in my first pic...a Colt A2 circa 1984...still shoots great despite the battle scars...easy to see rapid and prolonged 223 fire takes a toll on a barrel.

On my second unit...it lasted 24 hours...app no longer recognizes the camera...was great while it lasted...redid the apps etc but no go...

Works perfect on my laptop. The pics are great.
I am fairly surprised and happy to see that the folks selling the camera are being very proactive. I received and email through Amazon from them. They wanted to make sure the camera was working as expected. It had instructions on making sure the camera was focused and how to make that happen.
Pretty good follow up! They keep this up and I will definitely put them on my go to list of recommendations!

This is fast becoming the Thread of the Year. And I have yet to order one. ?
