Two documentaries worth watching....

So when I am in the shop, I always have Youtube playing in the background. I'll pick some topic that looks interesting and then let it 'pick' the topics the rest of the day. Takes me off on some amazing tangents and into some interesting videos!

Yesterday, I started on a topic I barely remember... and it took me to some documentary on Princess DIana, which was actually rather interesting. I remember her wedding and funeral. And lots of tabloid stuff... but paid attention to nothing while it was happening. Then... this popped up!



And it was followed by this:



None of which I had followed at all... and had never even heard the name Mena, Arkansas. I had followed the Iran Contra hearings almost obsessively... but never heard the name Mena. I knew who Eugene Hasenfus was... but none of the other players. One of whom wrote a book and did a rather interesting documentary himself...

This all occurred right before a nobody governor from Arkansas suddenly appeared on the national scene and displaced GHWB in the White House. Beginning a generation of Clinton corruption that is rather hard to fathom. We all kind of dismiss the Arkancide as satire and funny stuff... and it's hard to admit that HIllary could sit around and order hits... But the pair of them have a 'circle of friends' that is absolutely, unimpeachably corrupt and criminal at a level that is mind-boggling.

Worth the watch. Reid's book is rather intriguing as well. Air America guy I'd also never heard of.

Well, enjoy the conspiracy theories... or facts. The 'Unsolved Mysteries' episode is pretty interesting... the first one that played.

Now that I'm out, yes, yes it is all a swamp.

I do believe practically anybody with political power can be bought in that state both dem and pubic - Arkansas politics has always been cutthroat. Just look at the illegal gambling that went on until the GI's came back from WWII and tried to clean up the out-in-the open illegalities.

I have met several people over the years who lived in Arkansas. They say, it was the epicenter of a govt run drug operation by their words. Hey now! But yes... Barry Seals was a local legend per se (Google him) and there are lots of interesting tales. I went to school and worked in Mena in the early 90's. It was the wild west for sure.

P.S. For us Arkies this is all " Can you put that in a memo and file it under "Shit we already knew?" " I think the most distrubing thing was I know a lot of those people. Russel Welch (ASP CID), L.D. Brown (lived in Mount Ida for a while), and George Reeb .I think I machined parts for his company (ReebAir). Crazy I tell you!

I gave William Barr the benefit of doubt to do the right thing when Trump brought him in to replace Sessions.
Looks like Barr knows that the CIA and FBI have been crooked for a long long time. I am now wondering how dirty he is and if he's slow walking everything for the big "Nothing to see here".
