^^^ That and lint roll dog hair off your clothes.
Meh, they only shed twice a year....
That's true, I have two of them. They only shed twice, once from January to June and then again from July to December.
Just had to put my 10.5 year old German/Aussie down on Wednesday. He started acting weird over the weekend, and his condition very quickly declined. The morning of my vet appointment I woke up and knew he was in liver failure; jaundiced eyes, gums, belly, and inside his ears, bright orange urine. Based on the rapid decline the Vet said it was probably cancer.
My wife just vacuumed the house yesterday. I’ve cursed the hair explosions for years, but I’m gonna miss it now.
Apologies for taking this thread on a hard downward turn. Everyone please give your pups some extra loving today...

Sorry to hear that brother, losing a pet is brutal.

4 Husbands

The local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married for the fourth time. The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation. "He's a funeral director," she answered.

"Interesting," the newsman thought.

He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living. She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she had first married a banker when she was in her 20's, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40's, and a preacher when in her 60's, and now - in her 80's - a funeral director.

The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers.

She smiled and explained,

"I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."

Shitty picture from his youth, but it’s the only one I have handy on my new phone.

Now back to your regularly scheduled titty pics and memes.

Nothing is more motivational than unconditional love. Most of us have been where you're at, and we're better for it no matter how much it hurts now. Sorry about your loss.

It was a beutiful spring day in south Texas. Little Johnny was thinking about how he needs to haul ass from school and wet a hook. After lunch the teacher said "alright class, whoever is first to answer the U.S. history questions can leave early.

Teacher- "who was the father of our country?" Little Johnny's hand shot up. But teacher called on Juan.

Juan-"George Washington is the father of our country."

Teacher- "Juan, you are free to go". "Who wrote the Gettysburg Address" Johnny's hand shot up again. But teacher called on Carlos.

Carlos- "Abraham Lincoln wrote the Gettysburg Address."

Teacher- "Very good Carlos, you are free to go." "Who wrote the Star Spangled Banner?" Johnny said hell yes, no one knows this shit. and his hand shot up again. But teacher called on Maria.

Maria- "The Start Spangled Banner was written by Francis Scott Key".

Teacher- "Very good Maria, you are free to go."

Johnny- "Where'd all these fucking Mexicans come from!"

Teacher- "Who said that!"

Johnny- "Davy Crockett at the Alamo, see you Monday bitch!"

My sincere condolences, as well. Personally, I enjoy Memory Lane of Dog-ville.

However, Dirty D is a vengeful-but-effective force to keep this thread on track. So, to avert the wrath of saggy T&A, may I humbly suggest everyone enjoy a visit to the "Man's Best Friend Thread". It's full of truly motivational pictures and stories, centered on God's gift to us two-legged jerks.
