Good Day,
I don't know about everyone one else but the "stay at home" orders have increased my food bills. Now my 3 teenage kids are stuck at home and constantly snacking or waiting on meals. Not a bad thing just an observation.
Seen how fast they go thru food and milk - that's the scary part. Hope everyone stays healthy and safe.

Please post how much a bag of normal gorceries cost in your area. Also any helpful ideas on saving money at the gorcery store. Just as an example in Hawaii a gallon of milk is $6.
Maybe my kids will get hungry enough to eat each other and I can save $$

eggs have been under $1 here for quite awhile. Today over $3. Glad we have our own chickens. We sell our extra at my store $2.50 year around. Customers really appreciate them. Thought we were rid of the kids a few years ago, now have 2 boys living at home again. Maybe some day i'll get my home back

Haven’t noticed gouging in the northeast—just rotating shortages, particularly toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizer.

Thrilled to have our college age kids home, although I suspect they are learning even more from their own efforts than usual due to online lessons. However, they are not only going through food, but the garbage has increased exponentially and the hot water heater, dishwasher, and clothes washer and dryer have all submitted retirement notices (request was denied—they are working fine and expected to continue to do so).

Pre-and post-COVID-19, your Hawaiian sunshine would be worth a lot to me.
