Hopefully you shoot the match with a little bit longer barrel![]()
I may be biased, but that looks incredibly badass!Ok Sam. Here is a longer barrel for you. This is my 26” 6.5cm. I’ve got the bridge on now. And installed the bigger weight.

You should take pictures of nude women. If I had your talent, that is what I would be photographingOk Sam. Here is a longer barrel for you. This is my 26” 6.5cm. I’ve got the bridge on now. And installed the bigger weight.

Thanks man. This is just quick stuff with my phone. My parents were professional photographers. And when I was younger I borrowed one of my dads older cameras and got into it due to my car hobby. Actually had stuff published in calendars and was hired by companies and websites for stuff. But mostly was cars with half nude women. Haha. But I ended up stopping due to my ex wifeYou should take pictures of nude women. If I had your talent, that is what I would be photographing
Love that Dark Earth, and I'm loving the thumbhole stock with the chassis. Old school meets new school.

hahaha. Actually ive been thinking about shooting my next couple matches with this barrel. I almost shot the last one with it.
And I still need to put the NVG bridge on and decide on the weight kit.

I got mine working well in 300wsmI want to put a 6.5PRC barrel on my AT. Has anyone successfully opened up the bolt face enough to accommodate the PRC family of cartridges? I heard @trophyhunter may have done it? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

This is a great news. Are you using the regular AW/AT magazine without modification?I got mine working well in 300wsm![]()
We did it in our shop, the extractor is the biggest problemNice!! So in theory, a SAUM could also be done? Who did you have open up the bolt face for you?
Nah, I used a WSM/PRC mag from Accurate magThis is a great news. Are you using the regular AW/AT magazine without modification?

An update on ELR with the AXSR....
The 33xc is working great on the AXSR platform. I settled on a fairly mild load of 123 grains of H50BMG with the 300 Berger's. Velocity is right at 3150 and recoil is very mild with the TBAC 338 ultra. I shot a 1/2 moa 5-shot group at 1000 yards yesterday at 5.1 mils of elevation. I'll be back out in Kansas in a couple weeks to stretch it out to 2 miles, so I'll report back then.
That's a slick setup man! Does the bolt catch on the mag follower on the SR's? You just popping the head down in the mag when single feeding? Kicking around chambering a 338AI for my MC, what barrel did you use, 1.350 straight?
I put a chamfer on the follower so it doesn't lock anymore. The barrel is 1.35" dia. for 8" then straight tapered to about 1.1" dia. at 32".
It started off as “let’s see”, but we’ve done a few of them for customers. Are you offering it as a service or a one time thing you did to see if it could be done?

Awesome, thanks man! I don't know why i never thought to file the back edge of the follower, I just took it for granted i was going to almost get my finger stuck or drop the rifle trying to reach my finger in there.
Actually @samb300 upped it to its current length before I ordered my rifle and this barrel. Had he went longer I would of just got a longer 308 barrel to work with it. But I love my little shorty. So I’m happy he went with what he did. But boy does it make it fun to change the barrel. lol.@RS14 , so YOU'RE the reason we have a 'short' handguard!![]()
I’m right there with ya man. My SBR the suppressor is just about flush with the hand guard. And my 22Lr trainer. The suppressor is actually in the mdt acc forendI like the look of a long handguard and snug suppressed barrel, I have a 308 & 300WSM in 18”, just clears the 16” AX handguard
