Trump tests positive for covid

So apparently the real fight is going on while everyone is distracted by Trump and sick.

They are using the Wuhan Virus as a weapon to stop the SC nomination which is what they really want to block:

This i agree with, can the senator's that are infected and in quatentine still vote virtually?

No.
Difference between “don’t deserve” and “not allowed” is huge. Work on your vocabulary.

I think they must Vote in person on the Senate floor.

Trump and many close to him get corona. Press coverage becomes all Trump all the time. If the President and the others all do well and recover quickly? Suddenly all the peeps see virus is not that scary.

Also during his sickness all the haters in the MSM and Congress have to wish him well. The public watches how painful wishing good upon the President is for these people. They grit their teeth and experience pain while doing so and it shows.

If all goes well, Trump comes out of this even stronger.

Godspeed Mr. President, the world needs you.

Shocked that the crazy leftists tech giants are going to remove negative comments about Trump

I think it is just starting to come around in these folks' dodo-brains that there are a lot of quiet people out there that monitor chatter on these platforms, and may possess the skills and resources to trace those comments right to their sources, and compile the information into "lists"... I think that is why they are removing these comments, and not because they really want to. The "silent" types are really getting pissed off and I think even the most stupid and pigheaded leftist agitators can detect a subtle change in the atmosphere... It is like that certain old cowpoke sitting by himself at a saloon, just sipping his beer and reading a newspaper, and even though those three young drifters had been harassing him for the last several minutes, the man had not responded or showed any sign of discomfort... Common sense would dictate that those drifters should really stop and leave the place NOW, if they cared about their lives...

Godspeed Mr. President, the world needs you

boy, do we ever. he wasnt my guy....but damn, was i wrong. he has proven himself in spades. even if you ignore all that, and just look at who is standing against him....tells me all i need to know. and the DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS are so stupid, they out themselves proudly. standby, you sumbishes...your time is coming.

Nope. Rand Paul proposed a bill back in May allowing for remote voting; McConnell shot it down:

Nice work, Mitch.

Take it with a grain of salt. Biden campaign told the media that they'd be taking down all negative Trump ads, and media reported it as 100% fact. Yet they've done nothing of the sort...

fuck the tech giants let the remarks stand so we know whos who.
I did some work for a retired high tech company mogul. His son is a PhD that works for Google.
I won a National award on the project I designed and did for him which the Austin newspaper wanted to do a big story with pictures.
When I told the IT multimillionaire that cronied with Bill Gates and other software giants, that the American Statesman wanted to meet with me onsite to do the interview he said he wanted to sit in.

When the reporter began to interview me this slimy Obama supporter butted in and said he designed the project on his CAD, which was easier to believe than the truth. I spent the rest of the interview trying to prove to the reporter that I designed the project, like I do all my other projects. It completely undermined and ruined the interview.

I found out then IT people are egotistical, intellectual property thieving scum.

There’s some that are actually sane people. I have a degree in cyber security, and one of my programming professors was a USPSA shooter and big into revolvers and hand loading for pistols, super cool old dude. But most were woketarded. And this was at a small college in Gwinnett County, GA.
Can’t imagine the liberal insanity that a place like USC has.

Where/when do you envision this happening? I haven't seen it. Mostly what I see is either insinuation, or outright declaration that he deserves it and whatever else happens to him as a result. And this is from the "journalists," "media consultants," and politicians you mentioned above, not just the Hollywood elite and Activist-types.

This guy was a trusted friend and confidant until then. When Trump won in 2016 I was calling all my friends celebrating but when I called him and jokingly said something about Hillary wearing a disguise and boarding a private plane for some unknown country with no extradition agreement with the U.S. there was nothing but crickets on the phone. And he finally said Trumps economy plan isn't going to work. He never gives Trump himself credit for anything, instead says Republicans in general.

He owns a big ranch which I hunted and worked on but thats pretty much stopped. My choice. He knows I'm still pissed about that newspaper interview.
His youngest son is a shooter and we shoot together sometimes but his oldest PhD Google son is a complete dick.

Interesting. Is he a shooter as well?
And does the youngest espouse his dads anti Trump BS beliefs?

People can try to take them down or delete them, but the archives capture many of them and of course all those screenshots.

Plus we all know that there is no such thing as delete when it comes to anything online...LoL.

They’re seriously nasty people. I’m working with the Georgia GOP tryna help Trump win again by canvassing door to door. Believe it or not, I’ve gotten a very positive response from Hispanics, many of them wanting a Trump yard sign or to make a donation, and Trump only needs a few more percent of Hispanic support than last time to win. IMO he definitely has it.
Also the majority response from blacks has been largely positive, many of them thanking me and saying I’m representing the right guy. And even the liberal blacks ain’t been nasty or mean at all. The ONLY nasty/mean responses have been from liberal white punk ass bitches. The gentleman who trained me(a black Navy vet) texted me last week saying he literally got chased out of a neighborhood by 5 white liberal bitches, calling him a nigg3r and raising cane. He had to call the fckn cops on em because they followed him all the way to a McDonald’s half a mile away harassing him every step of the way. These are seriously unreasonable unhinged idiots. There’s no getting thru to em, they’re lost

The father doesn't hunt or shoot, the son does and recently bought a SCAR before the pandemic and panic. Not sure where he stands politically but surely he would have to know what Biden / Harris presidency would do to his expensive new toy.

Is the mask for you or is it for the other person?
All the intelligence and wokedness that you have been spouting just went down the shitter with this stoooopid statement.

Yeah wierd

Somehow it’s the man who refused to wear a mask who caught the Rona

Why didn’t anyone inform him?

You are wrong. Red China has been planning our demise for a while. I have info you may not have.
The Marxist influence in America is part of the plan.
Not disagreeing with you, but, It's not the Chinese people that want our demise, they're just slaves to their hierarchy. They just want to live their lives, much like we do ours. We fought our battles and we won them, to get to where "we" are today. They, the Chinese people, have lost theirs and until they figure out a way to arm themselves, they will always be slaves.
I fully agree with you on the Marxist plan, It's been taught in our Public School System, much less in our Higher Education schools, for quite some time. Just my thoughts on the matter. Mac

You're obviously an idiot if you think a piece of cloth that doesn't seal over your respiratory passages somehow protects the wearer from anything

And so is anyone who likes your post.

For those who still think a piece of cloth strapped to your ears protects you from airborne viruses, or even keeps viruses from escaping with the aerosol that comes out with your exhalation...……..watch this

You can clearly see aerosol leakeage out of the front of all the masks. Even though it's less than someone wearing nothing, IT IS STILL AN ESCAPE. Someone walking behind will run right into that aerosol cloud, as small as it may be, left by someone wearing a so-called "mask".

What the video does not show is how droplets leak around the sides of the mask which gaps from the skin to varying degrees depending on what the mask is made of. Those same gaps let you breath in whatever's in the air around you just as well as if you wore nothing on your face.

Do you want to protect yourself? Shave off any facial hair and wear a no-shit respirator that seals against your skin, that fits your face correctly, and that you know how to leak check. Something like this:

Or this
1601903282751.png

I've only had respirator training over a dozen times in my life and actually wore them in military and industrial environments to protect against real deadly shit like airborne radioactive contamination, but what would I know?

I think that a more rational explanation of the situation is that the White House staff and Trump family failed to follow some basic precautions related to safety in a pandemic. It's not about masks or lack thereof; that's just the most physically-obvious symptom.

It seems that the administration relied upon a test (specifically the Abbott Labs BinaxNOW PCR test) that has generally-acceptable sensitivity and specificity for symptomatic carriers, but which is wildly unreliable for those not yet exhibiting symptoms. It's rumored to generate false negatives in about 1/3rd of the pre-symptomatic cases, so that makes it pretty much useless as a screening tool. And then they decided to randomly screen those near the president instead of implementing 100% testing. So now you're using a test that only works ~67% of the time, multipled by the random test coverage interval. Given your background in manufacturing engineering, I'm pretty sure you can easily point out the flaws in this plan. If we were talking about, oh, maybe a supplier of snap rings, you'd be pretty pissed if their control plan looked like the President's screening protocols.

While one can argue for or against any number of disease protection countermeasures as it relates to a private citizen, the President is not a private citizen. His health is a national security concern, and it's clear that him and his administration got sloppy. They had some warnings over the past two months that there were holes in their protective measures, but I'm guessing they used those near-misses to rationalize the effectivity of their scheme. ("It got really close but never hit us directly, so we must be doing something right!") Pretty normal human logical fallacy, right?

So, no, this isn't about whether or not the President wears a mask.

Trump has positive test and the sniffles and his Dr admits him immediately and puts him on therapeutics.

Regular Joe Schmedly test positive with sniffles at the empty hospital and they tell him to go home with no theraputics and to only come back when near death so they can finish him off later with invasive respirator therapy.

Where is media's investigation of the medical industires Chineese WHO derived response?

Capitalism.

the President is not a private citizen. His health is a national security concern

He is a private citizen, despite what everyone else thinks they should know about him. I know people think they have a right to see the President's medical exams, tax returns, or any other number of private information. But they don't. If they do, I would invite them to show which statute entitles them to it.

The President's health is not, despite what you and policy wonks in DC might think, a national security concern. The executive branches that manage our security have clear directives and contingencies that don't depend on a President issuing orders to handle every single detail. That will suffice even if Article 4 of the 25th Amendment is invoked.

By the by, several sections of the 25th Amendment transferring presidential power to the VP have been invoked at various times and for various reasons over the last 50 years without any national security issues.

If he's just a private citizen, then why does the Secret Service exist?

I'm not talking about having any right to see his records - health, financial, or otherwise. I'm talking about the fact that he needs to behave differently than you or I, because his health has an outsized impact upon the entire world.

And once again, this has nothing to do with wearing a mask. Both sides are using that debate as a substitute for a meaningful discussion.

If he's just a private citizen, then why does the Secret Service exist?
The fact that he's a government employee does not detract from the fact that he is indeed a private citizen. He gets security because threats to a president's life are common. Executives in private industry do the same when they need to. It's just not as visible.

I'm not talking about having any right to see his records - health, financial, or otherwise. I'm talking about the fact that he needs to behave differently than you or I, because his health has an outsized impact upon the entire world.
So it's not our national security. Now it's the whole world? Which is it?

Maybe the rest of the world needs to pay less attention to what happens here and more to what happens inside their borders. The absolute most ridiculous reaction to his diagnosis was, not surprisingly, Wall Street's. Going into a panic selloff because the President is sick? Fucking idiots.

He's an executive. Not a king.

Cost Comparison: Remdesivir $2340; HCQ $25-30; Quercetin $5.40
