With all due respect, what are the right reasons? To moan together about the unfairness of it all? To agree about everything like we are in a support group? I don't mind arguing, and my feeling aren't easily hurt. It's good to disagree, even if we all agree on probably 97% of all political questions. In my world if people all already agree, there is no reason to discuss. It is rehashing the disagreements that is fruitful.

So, anent masks, I live in a normal place, and people don't wear masks outside like morons. But today I am in Salt Lake City, and people are out jogging and walking with masks on. Is this a thing? I believe the transmission risk outside, unless you are sucking somebody's snot, is like zero. Is this outside mask behavior part of the mandate in areas, and is Salt Lake City a liberal shithole? I am here for a medical procedure, since the only doctors near me are veterinarians.

I said today Trump sat there with his thumb up his ass, knowing they were going to steal the election and probably his job.

My gf said he was all alone and couldn't do anything. I said bullsh*t, he had 60m + Patriots and Gen Flynn that would have stood and fought for him. Thats what the constitution and the 2nd A is for.

Trump should have never conceded and left the White House to those criminals

i am guessing he was given a rough number of casualties to expect from rioting and he didn't want to go down that road.

That's a bit of a strawman. While there are multiple "anti-mask" contingencies, I'd say there is a difference between people denigrating those who voluntarily wear masks, vs. those denigrating our elected leaders and government overall, who spend 20-40%+ of our annual salary, finding us the "best solutions" for society.

Sadly, the science continues to be mixed at best if our societal masking practices for 2020 has had any appreciable effect on the prevention of COVID (Source: Ceeee deeee fucking Ceeee).

In short, I personally wouldn't openly critique someone who wears a mask. But I'll critique the fuck out of the government who continues to position mask wearing as the panacea of solutions to preventing this disease from spreading further.

Asymptomatic spread is bullshit.

Pre symptomatic spread is very very unlikely.

The germs a mask might "stop" are the same ones that you catch by covering your mouth when sneezing or coughing.

Transmission through vapor is unlikely to be possible.

Wearing a mask if you were sick and had to go somewhere would make sense. Masking every healthy person on bull shit pipe dreams.....Its not about the virus.
