Who makes a bore guide for the AR in 6 ARC? I called Brore Tech and was told they don't plan on making one since they are too busy now. I asked about using a 6.5 Grendel bore guide since it seems a few places sell them saying it works with the ARC but the Bore Tech guy said it won't work very well.

I just purchased this one and it is a quality piece, the tube is aluminum and come with 3 different adapters for different calibers, it also comes with a sleeve for AR type upper receivers. You will not be disapointed, and I use it on my ARC's

Their model 231 is for 6 PPC in an AR15 which will work.
Brownells sells a similar product as well VFG Pellets ( and be sure to order the required bore jag ) ... and when combined with Kroil and J-B Bore Brite, I have made bores clean in record times. Frankly it is all I use to clean barrel bores anymore.
Kroil and JB bore paste with these pellets work wonders on a bore, I mostly just use the kroil... but sometimes use Hoppes to just remove carbon. Then every few hundred rounds do a thorough cleaning with JB and kroil, after treating it with Sweets copper eliminator. The Tipton pellets come with the jag.

This. It's amazing how many new 6 ARC adopters don't realize the cartridge is basically a slightly longer 6 PPC.
I just ordered a AR-15 6mm ARC bore guide from Mike Lucas. Mike makes the best bore guides I have seen but they are not inexpensive. I have Lucas bore guides for all of my good rifles.
