So if I had a bunch of absolutely smokingly priced 1/2" AR500 targets......

Dang, felt like they were piling up, but I guess 300 sq ft goes a long way, huh?

Tyler, can you PM a shipped quote on a 36"x36" square and a 42"x42" square? My club is looking for a 2100 yard target

I’d be in for a 10” and 12” square or diamond, possibly a small ipsc also.

I’m editing based on your comment about most likely to make.
If it’s easier for you then I’ll take two 12” and a 50% ipsc.

I’d be down to buy one of each shipped to FL 33712):

10"-$30
25% IPSC-$15
50% IPSC-$45
63% IPSC-$70

🍻

Tyler,
Have you thought about doing 33% ipsc with a 2" center hole and 3" behind it. Maybe not for this run of targets.

Most of my actual practice is inside 300 yds because its 10 feet of walking. I have to drive a 1/4 mile for 800..

So I find myself always wanting smallish targets with smaller inserts. Its a good way to use up scrap plate

I'll definitely do a few 50% ipsc unless you decide you have enough interest in 40% or let me know how many I'd have to buy to make it worth your while.

For those of you curious about these targets, I just want to say I have 17 targets from Tyler and there all awesome. I have had zero issues with any including his tpost hangers.
Put me down for 2 10” and 2 8” might as well add to the coarse. I am also interested in a 100% if you could let me know shipping to 25979 thanks Tyler for looking out for us on the hide.

If there is any material left, I would take a couple of each IPSC, as long as the largest still fits in (it's own I assume) a flat rate box.

The 25% are really good targets for inside 300 off anything besides the bipod. Also make very challenging targets 150-200 yd targets for 22lr

Yes we will do reactive targets......eventually. Not anytime within the next few months.

Also, plenty of interest here so this will go ahead.

As for big targets, happy to quote and I get 85% off UPS freight prices. Please email [email protected] with your requests for 100% IPSC or anything else that isn't listed.

I don't think 1/2" AR500 is necessary or preferable for a really long range target unless you're lobbing an absolute ton of energy at it. Velocity should be no problem, big 375s-50s may have the energy to bend thinner steel though.

Are the responses to this thread all that’s needed to reserve the targets, or will you have a separate ordering system?

I'd like 1 of each from the 4-12in and one of the IPSC

I would normally agree with you, but the way the range is set up, the max distance from the main firing line is 927 yards. We have alternate firing lines with benches behind the main firing line every 100 yards that allow us to shoot from 1000 to 2100, so the shooter is moving away from the targets instead of the targets being further from the firing line. Unfortunately, that means whatever target we put out will only be a max of 927 yards from the main line and can be shot by guys using whatever caliber they bring out.

One of each for me, please.
4"-$7
6"-$15
8"-$20
10"-$30

As an aside................................. if anyone needs a plus 2 or 3 mag extension for an AICS or a Magpul 7.62 hit Tyler up at MK Machining.

I bought one a while ago and it's awsome, although I don't believe there was a plus 3 at the time.? Perhaps with the target order???????????????

what would the dangly bit cost?

Tagged to get in on this...and maybe a mag extension or 3. Thx MK Machining! As an aside, had an issue with an MK vortex throw lever a while back & Tyler replaced it ASAP no questions asked; not a huge equipment malfunction but top notch service!

Alright so we're gonna get going on this soon. 12", 25%, 50% IPSC are the most popular and I'll make the most of them.

Not sure yet if this scrap will cover all the requests here...but doing my best to get the best deal possible on more so folks can buy to their heart's content.

If those are the three most popular and ones that would be the most efficient use of the scrap, then I’m willing to change my request to make it easier on you.

2x 50% IPSC

I’m sure many here would as well.

Thanks 🍻

I’m late to the party, but would be interested in a 12” square and a few of the smaller ones.

Can you make 7 inch and 13 inch round targets? These are the NRA scoring ring dimensions for the short range target used for standing. The 7 round is the 10 ring and the 13 is the 9 ring, and the end of the black. 8 ring is white.

If you can make the 7 and 13 round plates, I'll take 2 of each.

You said 1/2” plate right?
Any chance you’ll be able to source 3/16” or one quarter?
Thx

I'd forego the 8" to save stock for the two 4". If neither is possible, i would take 4-25% instead of two. We can hash it out at invoice time!

I can, but not on this special 1/2" batch. If you email [email protected] we can do it on the next 3/8!

We can but it's not quite the subject of this specific thread. I need a sheet's worth to make custom thicknesses worth it, which I buy in 4x8' sections. It isn't much cheaper than 3/8" unless I order a truckload of it, literally.

I would take 2 of the 12 inch plates

Cool, if that’s how it’s working out, I’ll go with:

25% IPSC x2
50% IPSC x 2

I've got the opportunity to make a one-time priced run of 1/2" AR500 targets from a substantial amount of scrap off a substantially sized job.

Got contacted by my hookup about excess material at a great discount that can be done into prices as large as a full IPSC.

It's looking like I've got around 300 square feet to work with.

Wanting to do hybrid squares (hang as a square or diamond), IPSC, and if there's something else more than a few folks want, this can be done as well.

Hypothetical 'hide prices below to gauge interest:

4"-$7
6"-$15
8"-$20
10"-$30
12"$45
25% IPSC-$15
50% IPSC-$45
63% IPSC-$70
100% IPSC-$175

I'll be frank in that I'm not doing this to make 0 money, cause handling heavy targets is not a lot of fun, neither is the packing and shipping. However, these prices compare quite favorably to the market and I figured it would be worth an ask!
If there's any left, I'll take two 8" and one 63% IPSC.
