I dig the Howa, pretty much the only thing I wish for with it is a way to lighten the trigger a bit more. It's funny to whine about the trigger when the stocker is so good, and really almost the only thing better would be a TT Diamond, but...
I've got Gunbloke's Benchrest spring kit in it, and it's pretty freakin' nice at ~15oz, and I love the 2-stage goodness, but if I could easily get it to ~8oz without affecting reliability or feel negatively, I would.
There aren't many options, but it seems Jard makes a trigger for the Howa/Vanguard that can be ordered in the 6-8oz range which would be great. Anyone have experience with these? Reliable? Thoughts?
They're not expensive, but I'd just rather not be pulling my barreled action in and out of it's chassis, rechecking zeros, and generally fuckng around with it when my trigger is already fairly awesome and has been 100% reliable... is it worth messing with?
Thanks.
