FWIW it takes 20 minutes to cut the threads with a single point cutter since we do all machining post heat treatment, lolol

These are right off the machine and have not been in the tumbler yet.

Those look to be cut on a angle..so when you thread on the barrel it’s cross threaded.
Locks up good and tight

Opening the relief cut for the trigger safety lever to account for any manufacturing tolerances of the trigger company.

So far we have tested 50 different trigger units and all safety levers clear with enough ease but not too much gap.

Main reasoning of the question is:
With knowing 100% we will be running Birdsong on action assembly and knowing the price of our rifle along with the expectations we have for our customers experience..........Cerakote will never be able to match the birdsong color 100%.

maybe gray chassis and black action barrel

i think the chassis with all the relief cuts and angles will show better in a gray than a black

black might hide some
