That area, is was and will always be highly contested. I am not excuseing the behavior, just trying to put some context to the recent media thing about US civilian killings there. 1,400 isnt even 1% percent of what just Syria and Russia alone did to civilians in Syria. Nearly 4 million displaced. That whole situation was a shit show.
