Re: "Come up" sheets dcaven If your standard zero were to be 100 yds. your TMR mil POI's would be approximately as follows for each hash mark under the main cross hair. 215-295-365-425-485-540-590-635 Approximate may be the wrong word! As Chiller said there is a lot of information missing, I...
Re: "Come up" sheets dcaven what the guys are saying is there isn't enough loss of velocity in 5 feet to make any difference in trajectory. Most ballistics programs will go down to 5 or 10 yards. Come ups are the number of clicks used to get to the next yardages past your zero you may want...
Re: Archery ? Rip Cord drop away? Do you shoot with a release aid? If so a string loop will increase accuracy more then anything else. The fall-a-way rest will be an improvement at ranges over thirty yards just because of it's free flight characteristics.
Re: Did my first Stippling Job, remarks? It's growing on me! I like the appearance two to one over my first stippling job. What did you use for the "head?" ?

Re: Quick Target vs JBM IMHO, yes. It is very nice to be able to build a load, in QL and then open quick target and hit the "receive data from quick load" button...all parameters can be adjusted and is as accurate as any other program, so long as you feed it the proper information.
Re: Trigger pull or controlled jerk O.K. thinking smoothly, I will sit different size targets throughout my rifle range and dry fire away. I have an old laser that just isn't reliable enough for defense but should work perfectly for dry fire training once the shadows cover the range...never...

Trigger pull or controlled jerk My friend and I shoot together constantly. We are both accomplished shots, but I have noticed he can get 5 rounds off much quicker then myself. That said, his groups, dot drills or what have you are never as good as my own. He gets on the trigger rather quickly...
Re: Temperature or chrono. to blame? Unless your loads were laying out long enough to become heated by the sun (wnroscoe's pressure), then I would say you had lighting issues. The temperature change itself should have only been about a .3 fps change at chrono distances. On the same note...

Re: dpms mark 12 or sass Forwardeyes and myself are in the same boat. I had The Mark 12 and sold it,and regret it everyday. Well sub-moa with ATI 62 grain factory loads.
Re: Real world dope - issue There is a lot going on with this question, but I am going to say NO! With-out knowing bullet weight and velocity, and all the variables it is impossible to give an absolute answer. I understand your thinking that the wind hitting the hill directly in front of you...
