I'm thinking of getting a WOA varmint barrel, and I can have it bead blasted by WOA, but I don't think I can have it painted. I want a matte black finish. What kind of process is required to paint a barrel? I'd rather have it professionally done, so any recommendations? Thanks.

So in my search for a barrel for my build, I'm looking at the noveske 20" medium varmint barrel 1:8 twist. But what is this chamber? Does it offer and advantages or drawbacks over .223 wylde? And should I shoot 5.56 or .223 out of it?

I'm not really sure what to look for in an AR scope mount. I don't need a mount that has to survive being repeatedly being thrown down a rocky face, but I want it to be durable enough so that it doesn't loosen over time after repeated shooting, bouncing around in the car on the way to the range...

I read the entire thread. There wasn't much in there that seemed to indicate that CLE was the problem. And besides this, I'm not planning on using a krieger barrel.
