These binos are incredible. Think of them really as a spotting scope. I sold all my spotting scopes and use this mounted on a tripod. The FOV, clarity and lack of eye fatigue beat a spotter for shooting and general glassing.

Surgeon has been used and abused for years in PRS matches and works as well.

You will never have to replace a Surgeon XL. EXTREMELY beefy and with a barrel vise and a proper action wrench you can swap barrels in minutes.

Totally depends on the freebore of the reamer they use. I'm not sure as to what the ideal FB length would be. I shoot the 215's and they are very consistent for me.

I have a set of Redding Type S Match dies and they serve me well. With Nosler brass I use a .311 bushing. I also use the same set for 6.5SAUM and just change out the bushing. I have a VLD seating stem in the micrometer seater die.
