Re: ProTec Carbon fiber cleaning rod I got one of the same rods one year ago, and the metal tip came off during the second use. The retailer gave me a new one without any questions. I recently found the second one tucked away in my closet, and the tip came off of that one as well. I took...
Re: Kansas City BBQ Where to eat +1 on the Arthur Bryants. I was there in 07 and the BBQ was great. Didn't think anyone could beat Texas BBQ, but I found I was wrong.
Re: My new McMillan A5...wtf Mine looks just like that. It's the nature of the molded in camo. It will not chip or wear like painted stocks will. It's unique and made to take a beating. Nobody bitches about orange peel on an M1 Abrams paint job.
Re: NFL seaosn ticket holders The season ticket holders usually get their tickets in July. That's when my parents get theirs. Should be same time this year.
Re: GAP Kindness That's all I needed to hear. I have a barreled .243 action that I've wanted built up, but I didn't know too much about you wnroscoe. I look forward to having you work on it. When I send it in and it's finished I will be proud to say I own a GAP .308 and a LA Precision 243.
Re: One Liners He's so tall he could stand flat-footed and shit in a dumptruck. She's been on more laps than a napkin. Fuc*ed up like a soup sandwich. If I want any shit out of you I'll pinch your head.
Re: Hydro-Dipping...in Texas Tarjac.com dipped my Benelli. The finish was flawless, and the turnaround was quick. They operate in New York. I will send more to them when needed.
Re: More 700 Ejection Problems Let us know how that goes. I'm interested to see if that cures it. I replaced mine, but that didn't work. Your video has prompted me to try the same. Maybe I can slo-mo it and find something.
Re: More 700 Ejection Problems I have this exact same problem with my remington, and it's only when I quickly try to eject the brass. If you find a solution please let me know. I took my Lupy off thinking it might be hitting the scope, but it still did it. I was about to send it back to GAP...
Re: Chicago PD? For real? I'm pretty sure it's real. My parents met a Chicago Officer and took a photo with him in uniform. He directed them to a place where they could get me some official Chicago PD merchandise. They brought me a t-shirt that had the same logo as the mug with a chalk...
Re: Leupold Mark IV clicks It was the o-rings! I removed them and the knobs are great. I figured they were there for a reason, so I lubed them and replaced them. Still sounds and feels good with them lubed. Thanks for the suggestions.
Re: Leupold Mark IV clicks Thanks WGM. I was thinking that the 0rings might have something to do with it. I will take them off tonight and see if that works. Thanks for the responses
Re: Leupold Mark IV clicks I haven't spoken to them yet. I just assumed that's the way Leupy's were. I've had the opportunity lately to use some other high-end scopes, and it really made me see how "mushy" Leupy clicks are. I posted this to see if anyone else had this issue or knew of...
Re: New Advertisements on the Site I've learned plenty on this site, and it's helped me more than I can say. All at NO COST! Do what you have to do LL.
Can Leupold do anything to improve the the clicks on a Mark IV with M1 knobs? Mine are hard to feel and even harder to hear. I don't know if this is common all all Mark IV's. Money's tight and times are hard so please don't tell me I need to upgrade to S&B, NF, or USO (although I wish I could).
