I recently put a 3-18 razor on my sig 716 and I definitely required a cantilever. Spuhr 4616 mounted as far forward as possible without touching the handguard worked out perfect for me, all my ar platforms have the ocular even with the charging handle.

On a DI it doesn’t really matter, I feel like solids are easier to line up the gas ports but whatever floats your boat. on a piston I much prefer the solid with a properly dimpled barrel.

260, you’ll have something way more unique and not be shunned by 1/3 of the shooting community only to be the 2/3 newest fanboy with the creed. Ballistics are superior and I’d think extraction and feeding would be superior with the 260 as well.

why are so many guys trying to subsonic a 308? I use the 300 blk with 8” 1:7 twist and I could not be happier. I understand you have to run what ya bring sometimes, but are there other reasons to do that to a 308?

back to the original question, I think most guys that multipurpose their gun will agree that a FL size die is the way to go. Have you read about partial FL resizing? I think the best die going is the ribs GMM dies -FL neck bushing sizer. If you dont find anything about partial FL sizing on here...

Well, the Cci 250 is a LRM primer and the fed 210 is a LR primer. I assume you mean 250 vs 215? It’s widely accepted that Cci has a harder cup material while fed is a hotter primer. I’ve personally had ignition issues with cci primers in subzero temps in ultra magnum calibers, and fed primers...

While I’ve been fishing around on these Ive heard of a lot of thermal guys using them to attach their scope to the rifle after spotting freehand. Supposedly RTZ is fantastic. I don’t expect them to be a spuhr at ~ half the price. If only I could put a spuhr on everything haha.. :(
