I have a DTA 308 and 338 just like you have on order and have been running a Steiner 5-25x56 . The gun and scope are awesome, I would highly recommend the Steiner. After months of reading reviews , talking with people and from past experience I chose the Steiner and couldn't be happier. Good...
I too had a less than positive experience with the 12x model. I really liked the size, fit and finish of the scope and the turrets were nice. I really wanted to love the scope but I could not get the reticle to focus, I easily spent more time trying to get the sight picture right than all my...
168 gr. 308, fed cases, Fgmm primers, 42.5 gr. Of 4895 produces sub 1/2 minute. 300 gr smk. Lapua brass Fgmm 215 primer, 88.1 gr. Of h1000 has worked well so far .25 moa @ 300. Yds.

Scudzuki if you have an issue with setting the zero stop pm me, don't follow the directions though they aren't even close. When I talked to the Steiner rep they stated the directions are for the other scopes not the 5-25.
I just bought one with an MSR and I too was worried about the turrets after reading some comments, but I can tell you there is nothing to worry about. They must have fixed the problem because mine are very firm and tactile. I was hesitant spending so much on a scope that I had not seen in...
I lost post numbers too, wouldn't care if I was over a hundred but since it's a requirement to sell on the sight it sucks the big one when they just disappear on you.
