Tough question if you decide to build cross your fingers and hope everything fits, it wont. Buy three of each use the one of the three that fits the best. Very easy to build but seems like people are having issues both building them and buying complete high end ones as well. I'd rather be...
A short A2 is a A1 stock. They use the same buffer tube spring and buffer but the A2 has a spacer as well as a longer screw that takes up the extra length. I have had A1 length stocks made by Vltor, Cav Arms and Magupuls is also A1 length.
This gets even more involved when you start talking extension tubes buffer springs and buffers. I have and like the Vltor A5 extension which are similar or the same to Armalite AR10 extension. It should work with an Armalite AR10 carbine spring with Armalite AR10 buffer or AR15 H3 buffer
Confusing, I am going to attempt to build a DPMS barrel, - midlength AR gas system, with DPMS extension DPMS bolt - JP enhanced bolt, DPMS upper receiver, and Armalite Bolt Carrier Armalite firing pin and spring. Only answer to a question I could not find on the net is if there is a difference...
American defense manufacturing. Made in U.S.A. reasonably priced. QD throw levers. available 30mm or 1" 34mm ect... The rings can be bought separately and swapped out.
Mine is a 6.8. The only thing I would change outside of the 1x bottom end scope would be to SBR it, but that would make it a bit tougher to travel to texas and hunt hogs.
Nice. I had an order in for that scope from the tax day sale. My plan was to use it on pig hunt last November but Nov. came and went with no scope. I was forced to cancel the order and pick up a 2x8 zeiss duralyte that worked out extremely well, even for close up on the ground running pig...
I don't think a headspaced bolt is going to insure you accuracy. It just proofs that the chamber is cut correctly and the bolt is allowing the proper headspace without being excessive or over spec. basically insurance that your rifle wont blow up on your first round fired. There is still...
you have an adjustable gas block on the 16" it either needs to be opened up more if not enough gas is entering the tube to push the carrier back far enough or too much gas is entering cycling too fast. try closing it or opening see what happens.
